Who is Sklyar_Boss? What is his credential? Is he/she going to post on a regular basis or just register and then disappear?

Wonder where Anikh is these days. No love for us. I cry a river.

Anikh was not well last time we spoke with him here. I sure hope he is doing better.

Skylar is a model from California. She is also an artist.

she is bright, smart, and beautiful.

lets hope she shares her art with us and the rest of the world here. I hope she is not too shy.

you are a sophisticated woman emma darling. all those languages and also so well versed in many different cultures.

and looks like Skylar is a woman of many talents as well.

that lady (Skylar) I met on twitter is a model from California. she is also an artist among many other things.

I asked her join Camelot and have her own place here so she can post her art work and also anything else she wishes or leases.

I did ask her to stop by Emma's Café to say hello to you. perhaps she is busy and also a little bit shy initially.

she should be able to feel more at home since she has her own place. now she can just do her thing.

It's good to know about Skylar, herc darling. I am very interested in her art work. You know I am into that sorts of things. Andy's girlfriend Kim Sears is a fantastic artist as well.

Let her post at her own comfort. She's always more than welcome here.

Hey, I have this poster of MM in my bedroom. What do you think? It looks pretty cool in my bedroom.

looks pretty damn cool.

I will go ahead and start calling her MM also.

its a good one emma. do you have it framed?

It was already framed but not in the traditional way. I will post a picture of it soon. You'll see. I love MM, Audrey and Agentha. I have poster size pictures of them in my condo apartment. Everyone who comes in to my apartment finds it pretty cool.

you have company emma darling:

I love those same three a lot as well.

Skylar told me earlier today that she was really inspired by MM (Marilyn Monroe). so she is a massive fan as well.

This is the poster I have of Agnetha and Frida. It's just as cool as it looks. You can find it on eBay.

I think you and Skylar will get along wonderfully because of some of the similarities: both of you are bright, educated, cultured, and well spoken.

hopefully she will make her way here at her own comfort of course.

Thanks, herc darling, but I can be a bit rude and very opinionated at times too. Oh well. Who says we are perfect. Imperfection is perfection after all. If we are all perfect then there would be no point living this life, innit.

I was just listening to that song called "dancing queen". I am not sure if the title is right for that song.

I heard it on the radio the other day. every single song I hear by Abba blows me away.

She had such a magical voice.

anyway here is that song:

some differences are healthy so we are not each other's shadows.

I think he'll do it. He has lost to him lately, but Andy is rounding into form. His recovery was slow but steady. The win over Cilic, as straightforward as it was is bound to give him confidence.

I didn't think Rafa would get to the final by any means. I think the first match was just the adrenaline flowing, but it takes time to get your timing back and know what shot to hit in the right moment. Plus, Rafa had 37 errors which is a lot for him. Still, I thought he looked relatively good considering he's just coming back, and the little fish in the sea always have to have their time in the sun too.

While I feel it was a terrific win over Cilic by Andy, I truly feel it was also the match that did the damage against Nole. I'd have rather liked Andy to get the win over Nole than the recent USO Champion. After all, Nole is very well known for his consistency not to mention the No. 1 player.

As to Rafa, I saw the match. Klizan was a tad more aggressive especially at crucial points and Nadal had trouble chasing those. Klizan is a solid player and believes in himself while Nadal I feel is still a bit slow upon return and as herc said, fitness might still be an issue as he wasn't quick enough around the court as he typically is. He's growing older after all so quickness is the first thing that I believe that goes first albeit not all at once.

And those 37 errors are very telling of Rafa's confidence. He's a player of confidence first and foremost we all know. Each time he makes an error his confidence goes down a bit and he made 37 of them - very unusual for a player who tends to keep the errors to the minimum, because of the focus being on the balance of confidence/error ratio primarily. Plus the match was just too long for him and Klizan wasn't giving up at all and kept on pounding the ball. I believe it was almost 3 hour long match. But it was also a very good match. I thoroughly enjoyed it because of its high quality. Win or loss - you can't take that away from that match.

Me too, but Andy is looking different on court. I can't put my finger on it.

This is exactly how I feel, you just said it so much better. I often get irritated with my closest friends if they call me too much or want me to go somewhere. Especially if the activity is planned in advance. Spontaneous, I can do, but future planning for an activity isn't my cup of tea. I enjoy just being, doing what I want when I want to. And, of course, I enjoy talking with people who aren't always spouting unoriginal thoughts.

While at the fundamental level we are all the same, equal and one, on the surface we all tend to be different from each other and I believe that's how it was meant to be on this physical plane at least. It's just about learning about something from all possible aspects or angles of things. For example, when we look at a beautiful flower and even when it remains the same, we however perceive different beauty and meaning from the same flower and it's all because we all have different lives therefore different experiences so the flower doesn't represent the same beauty and meaning to all of us. I believe that's the purpose of it all anyway.

I really enjoy the fact that we are different from each other. I really like the sharp contrast of things of the same thing. The spiritual teachers that I follow, they say take everyone seriously because they are all part of your life for a reason. For example, even from the most difficult ones whom we, say, dislike inherently, we learn what not to do. So in a round about way whether we like certain people are not, we learn something from them. Life really feels like a big teacher or life guru if you will and the Earth really feels like a big school where we are constantly learning something from each other and from all the things that surround us. It just doesn't feel any other way.

Beautiful post, Emma.

i saw rafa's 2nd round match. i cant really say that i am happy with him.

i can understand the injury but i dont know why he is not putting in the time on his fitness. he was slow and sluggish even by his own admission.

he says it a little differently but i know what he means. he said he could be better with the legs and stuff.

also it was the left hand injured. he could have worked more on his serve and also the net game. these are fast courts and he was again terrified of the net.

i am worried about him: i am afraid the incredible fame and fortune has taken away some of his attention away from the sport.

simply put, he has dropped his level of play and his fitness quite significantly from last year.

i am just worried sick to my stomach about him. i keep seeing a drop in fitness.

at any rate hopefully he will get it back together for 2015 and give it a good go.

That's a bit too dramatic, herc darling. Surely Rafa's 14 Majors and a number of single titles beg the question, no? But I feel both Federer and Nadal fans are quite spoiled and a bit too ambitious for my taste.

I am quite happy with Andy's 2 Slam titles. Of course a few more would be quite deserved as well but I wouldn't be devastated if he weren't to win any more. I am not sure how you guys would have dealt with Nadal if he were to go 15 months without a title and being ranked 11.

It just somehow comes down to all about glory and who gets to keep the bragging right in the end - Rafa fans or Federer fans - unfortunately.

Some Rafa fans, not all. I am happy for Rafa's 14 as it is way more than was ever predicted for him. If he quit tomorrow he will have satisfied me as a tennis fan. I care more about Rafa's health than glory. With good health he can continue to bring the competitive element to the sport that I love, without his health, all is folly.

So Rafa lost to Lopez (understood) and our Andy lost to Ferrer of all people. Not that I underestimate Ferrer by any means and he's one of the most consistent players out there but he's in a slump and Andy was building his confidence or so Murray fans love to think, but then how do you explain this loss? Something just isn't right. I mean you can throw all the excuses in front of me, I will still have lots of problems with this loss. Latest one I read was that Ferrer played 3 matches whereas Andy played 10 and so Andy was tired. How do you then explain Ferrer's straight sets loss to Nole the very next day who's just coming off winning Beijing? Should he not be equally tired then? Just stop making these excuses to make Andy look better and start taking the facts seriously. They are there just in front of you as much as you try to overlook them.

And why on earth is Andy trying to qualify for the WTF? If anything, he's going to get booed there by the English fans just like 2012 against Federer. Please don't convince yourself thinking Swiss fans came all the way from Switzerland just to boo Andy against Federer. They are not that indecent unlike the English fans.

Does this mean Andy shouldn't qualify for WTF so that he can avoid booing from English fans? No. The problem is, they are already fuming over Andy's tweet and I am sure a lot of them haven't really 'forgiven' him and are just waiting for the right moment. And given Andy's form right now, it seems like another humiliation is in the brewing especially once Andy starts losing to any one of them as soon as WTF rolls on. Andy would be extremely wise not to qualify. He's not going to win it anyway. Can he guarantee that? Can he even guarantee a good showing? No and no.

He has next year to turn things around and by that time things will cool off as well. I am fine with him playing Vienna and Valencia but the goal should not be to qualify for the WTF. I've given my warning but if Andy and his fans still want it, they should also get ready for the humiliation. Some of the nasty attacks will be coming from their own fellow posters - those are also English fans keep in mind.
