Hello :-). Want to say hi to Emma who I understand is massive Andy fan like me :-). He has already made dreams come true for me and happy to share these dreams on this forum. :-)

Hola Anikh. :) Good to see another Murray fan here. How did you come to know about this forum?

Yes, a massive Andy fan for sure. Love him to bits and pieces. I enjoy watching him play a great deal even when he loses, even when he loses his temper no matter what.  I guess that's unconditional love for you but to be honest, I find Andy's game so beautiful and that's what keeps me engaged for the most part. Plus, I enjoy watching him because he ooozes goodness and there's something very pure about him. I do feel for Nole too, who btw is my second favourite player but my feeling is not as intense as Andy's, but still love him very much. He's a beautiful person inside out. So it's always a very pleasant experience for me when I watch these two playing.

Well anyway, a very warm welcome. Hope you like it here. We do try.  :)

TT, not sure what's happening but it's kicking me out every time I try to go to the previous page to quote your post. I wanted to thank you for the compliment. I do like laughing and aim to please as well. I am very happy that I was able to crack you up! ;D

I use the tip that you or masterclass posted a while back. Right click on quote and open in a new window. It works like a charm.

And yes, you have a wonderful sense of humor. Delightful, actually.

Hola TT, quoting wasn't the problem. I just couldn't go back to the previous page. Every time I did it kicked me out of the forum and gave me a warning. lol. I thought there was something on that page that was restricting me from going there. Our firm is very strict about the internet and how we use it, so anything it detects to be harmful I get a warning. And that's what was happening to me. I thought the MM picture was the culprit but I don't know really.

And I am glad you like my humour. I really adore people who make me laugh so I try to return the favour sometimes.

I loved what you did there but framed pictures are very old fashioned!

^ These Murray fans get everywhere :)  Like Scousers and Irish... wherever you go in the world, you'll bump into one.

How's life on Planet Camelot?

But you won't find them in Hell's prisons. All the places are taken by the lunatic fans of Federer and I hear some of them are on the loose. Are you one of them by any chance?

 :P

When somebody asks who do you think will win?  It makes sense to give an answer with your gut feeling, not who you might *want* to win.

In this particular case, masterclass and I got it right.  Nothing to do with being consumed with jealousy, negativity, agendas and hatred... just a simple call on who predicts who to win a match.  If Federer meets Nadal on clay this season - I'll call Nadal unless there are mitigating circumstances. But I'll always be rooting for the Swiss guy, regardless of who I think will win beforehand.

Personally I dislike "fan forums" because I find them as dull as dishwater.  Everybody rooting for the same guy.  People who might "think" their guy will lose getting branded as being somewhat unfaithful even if they are actually rooting for them...  Variety is the spice of life.

I don't know who asked you that question but I am sure it wasn't me. I wouldn't ask such a question because if it's too predictable - like the Federer/Nadal matches - then there's no point asking it. And if it's too unpredictable then I am not sure why certain posters or any poster would know the answer. I don't think I have that much faith in anyone who would know about future possibilities.

And I never said or implied you or masterclass said that because you two are consumed with jealousy, hatred, negative etc. Let's not read stuff that aren't there. I don't even see you two that way but I do sense that both of you like to gloat a bit but that's a natural Federer fan reaction. It comes with the territory after all. Not all Nadal fans are above it either for what it's worth.

And you've successfully missed the point as well - I didn't say that you can't predict matches here on Emma's cafe. And yes, you got it right but so did rest of the world. It was no rocket science given that perspective at that time. Anyway, what I meant is that, since I don't like to know or read about the so called predictions of Andy's matches (especially the important ones), I like to avoid those threads in any forum that have the elements during Slams but since this is Emma's cafe, I actually didn't expect to read it here. This made me realize that it's perhaps best if I avoided the forum for 2/3 weeks and stay more on a Murray forum so that I can stay focused. I basically want herc to know in advance otherwise he'd expect me to be here. Anyway, I believe what I believe. And I know what I know. When it comes to tennis, no one is more important to me than Murray and I want to make sure that I do the right things and hangout with the right people around that time. Not that other people are wrong but they are not Murray fans and that makes a huge difference when it comes to important matches. I wouldn't even want to hangout with herc or TT if you know what I mean, because it would be impossible for them to root for Andy against Nadal and vice versa.

And I typically I like a general forum more but it's been really a long time I've felt that way. No general forum is free from the obnoxious Fedal fans and their constant ongoing bickering. I'd like to stay away from that negativity as long as possible and that's why it's far more refreshing for me to stay on a player related forum these days. For what it's worth, my time on Samprazfanz was spent the most precious way I spent my time on a forum. There was almost never any kind of negativity and most fans would stay on course and wishing Sampras well all the time - whether he had a chance or not was irrelevant.

I admit that I had a bit of a hard time at Murray's forum not because of Murray fans (although it gets really ugly during a match especially when Andy struggles) but mostly because, at times, I got sidetracked with discussions like religion, free will, physics, life after death etc. so it wasn't working out for me anyway (I didn't feel I belonged there as a lot of the minds felt very closed and rigid). And also, since MW is mostly about Brit fans (at least 99%), they do possess the negative side of a nation (read nationalism) and because of the England/Scotland tension, they tend to bring out the worst in each other in some cases.  Also, some are either overly positive or overly negative about Andy but that may have a lot to do with the culture as well and the way they were brought up. Sampras had mostly global fans in that forum so it had a very nice balance and provided a very nice atmosphere, but I did feel Sampras was generally loved by his US fans without any conditions, I just didn't see it in Brit fans - a lot of the English still truly hate Andy and some of the Scottish too and perhaps there's more. Or I don't know - maybe they are just negative by nature who knows.

But to each his own I am sure.

Eh? I don't know if I should be offended or .... flattered but wait until I go back home. I will serve you just that but don't get your hopes too high in the meantime.

Fortunately my "ex-friend" will pay the fine. Since it wasn't me who ordered the shampoo, nothing will end up on my personal profile. We explained them very well what happened and they believed me. If necessary, I would have even gone there to prove them that it is not me who has problems with dandruff or whatever. Hahahaha.

Well, he knows that I had a threesome before so he is constantly asking me about it and suggesting to try it as well. Hahaha. Maybe I shouldn't have told him about it. At the moment he is all about his education and work stuff again. I don't feel like bothering him anymore. Yesterday I met a good friend and he told me that I should stop pursuing this guy for a while, get a bit of distance, hang out with other people, etc. I can still meet him next month if I feel like it but I suppose it'd be best for me to keep my distance. If he doesn't start investing a bit more then, then it is surely not worth it. He just has other priorities now and I don't want to stand in his way.

Yeah, I too think you shouldn't have told him about the threesome especially if you're going to be romantically involved with him. I really think guys are all business like even when it comes to the opposite sex and tend to weigh things that way. As much as they like sex, I think in the end if they do have the intention of having a girlfriend or wife, they will go with someone who's more reliable in that regard. So if it so happen that this doesn't work out and if you happen to find another guy you happen to like just as much, don't tell him about your sexual adventures. The divorce rate in NA alone is now almost 70% and the number one reason for that is actually infidelity. Besides, there are all sorts of sexual diseases eww. I am very careful about these things, really.

IMO your friend is right on the mark. Once you step away from scene, the infatuation will wear off but unfortunately a lot of people would rather make the mistake than to be careful about it.  I don't think though there's  great loss in it since you already kind of half know what to expect.  You just want to be sure about it and that's alright.

I meant to ask several times, is this the same guy you met on your birthday night when you were traveling Croatia back then?

Very happy for Cilic and Gulbis. Didn't get to see Cilic but did see Gulbis blasting Tsogna off the court. Very good match. Poor Tsonga though.

And yes, quite predictably was very happy for Dolgo over his semi-final performance against Ferrer. Too bad he couldn't take the title.

But congrats to Nadal and his fans. Was this his 2nd title of the year? That's not too bad for a start.

Nole, Federer and Andy are all in this week.

not my cup of tea lady emma.

I prefer a hot lady and I prefer her all to myself.

that said, I bet every man out there has at least thought of having 2-3 ladies in bed.

I am no different in that respect but I have never actually pursued that idea.
