Anyone watching Anderson vs Wawrinka? Anderson has Stan on the ropes. He's the aggressor here while Stan is looking passive and very error prone. He's really taking it to Stan. Stan holds his serve here though in the 2nd; however, Anderson is with the lead and up a break. 3-2 Anderson 2nd set. Hope he continues to hold is serve.

another cold front here too emma. will be cold here for the next 2 nights. but our winter is mild compared to what you are having to deal with.



I am disappointed that Andy lost. it is what it is. what can we do.


its just a brutal sport. now andy and rafa are having trouble regaining their traction while the others are shaking and baking.

I just walked in the house. I have been out all day.


Anderson's stock could be on the rise. he has made a few finals lately.

Anderson does get tight in the clutch. I have seen that a lot from him.

Andy's going through some downtime right now. He'll bounce back at some point. He may not be in the same league as Nadal or Federer but he's a Champion nonetheless. He just needs to be hungry for tennis and some titles of course. Once he goes through this drought, he'll rise and shine once again I am sure.

Andy has some massive wins. beating Nole at Wimbledon and also at the U.S. Open was no easy matter.

Nole was the hottest player and also a world #1 at that time.

back surgery set Andy back. he will get going again. he just needs a little more time.

Quick reaction from Stan to hold serve. 5-4 Stan. Anderson can't afford to get tight. He needs to continue to win those cheap points. Stan looks ultra solid from baseline.

Very much agree.

Does Haas any chance against Federer tonight? I hear he's having some shoulder issues. Federer is having a bit a of a cakewalk here.

Oh well, served big on a couple of set points only to lose it later. I still hope for Anderson to win. He has to convert at some point and who says it's going to be easy.

I think Federer would have to be the favorite against tommy haas tonight.

Anderson will play the winner of that match.


so this is huge for anderson if he can pull it off: he has a chance to best both Stan and Federer.

not an easy thing to do on the hard courts. so if he ever wanted a huge challenge, he has it.
