Went out with a friend last Friday. The first place was way too crowded, the 2nd one had a 2 hour long wait period so had no option but to go to more of a family restaurant. After dinner, as we were about to pay for our food, the waitress told us that it had already been paid by the guy sitting in one corner. I noticed this guy (about 20ish) noticing us from time to time but didn't realize he was going to pay for our food and drinks. It was very weird, really. My friend was somewhat overwhelmed and grateful but I was more curious and disturbed. Surely he can tell from looking at us that we definitely don't need strangers pay for our dinner, but to do it in a family restaurant might be going a bit far. Anyway, I got curious and asked him why did he do it and he said, he was providing a service to us. Quite the flatterer, really but I didn't fall for it. The whole thing kind of interrupted our conversation and we couldn't focus on anything else anymore after that. In fact, we made sure no one was following us after we left the restaurant.

I finally bought a chair from the Ashley furniture but quite unfortunately, it's really not going with what I have going on in bedroom. So now I am throwing cushions, throws etc. over it to cover up the delicate crime. lol. It's a beautiful chair but the basic color is not a good contrast though the patterns are fine. The solid colour needed to be off white but it's almost yellow. Oh, yesterday after they delivered the chair, I wanted to throw myself out the window. Oh!

Been very depressed since then. lol Returning would be too much of a hassle now especially when I'll have to pay $50 for returning it and another $60 for the delivery.

I need wine.

Last Saturday, my 8 year old lover wanted to know (and this is the 3rd time in six months!) how old I am. I always know when men want to know my age and why they ask it but boys? Mind you, he never asks my 3 other friends how old they are, like ever. All his curiosity revolves around me. Anyway, his mum told him, "Zayan! you never ask people' age". I added, "especially women and especially mine. I am appalled, Zayan." Instead he said, "what's appalled?". I was about to roll my eyes at him before explaining lol but his mum promptly answered that. Anyway, long story short, I said I was 21 and he didn't believe me, so he rephrased the question, "are you older than mummy or younger?". His mum is now furious. lolol. I had my wine taking time (why hurry, right?) and asked, "why do you want to know? Tell me that first." He got quiet after that. Anyway, I think he's trying to find out if he grows up a bit more, I suppose another 10 years or so, if I'll be still within his age range so that he can finally ask me out. lolol. Btw, he hates girls of his own age. I figured if I were a teacher, he'd turn up in every single of my class.

It's so funny because I think there are many out there who had crushes like that while growing up but the same gender fall for younger women when they grow up and reach a certain age. A man's mind is so predictable in so many ways. They almost never leave the question up in the air for us women, 'what do men want?'. We almost always know. It's almost always sex and food and in that order too. haha

that is perfectly fine. we know our time will come sooner or later. we will be active enough one day. it has to happen if we stay cool, caring, and charming.

at least we have a home. and we are able to open our home's doors to the world.

I am cool if it's a bit quiet, herc darling. I come and go as I please. And who needs an argument or chaos anyway. Life is stressful enough.

I come and I do my stuff. Entertain the world and bring information, colour and energy as you so lovingly put it. ;D

Yes, we are different and we will stay different. And this is our message to you, folks. Live and let live. ;D

There's nothing greater in this world (and that includes your beloved Federer too!  haha) than love and peace. Together they bring happiness.

So I guess the Madrid draw is coming out tomorrow. Looking forward to this tournament. I am curious to see how this whole clay season is going to pan out in the end, so that we can look back and talk about it. Grass hits immediately though but still.

It's staying seasonal which also means rainy season. We are getting a lot of rain this week. Hopefully next week, it will be on the dry side.

How about the gulf coast? Are things warm enough for you?

Yes, I am very much looking forward to seeing Andy in Madrid. Let's see what he brings over there - his official first clay tournament of the year minus DC. Not expecting too much I must admit.
