I saw some highlights of the nole vs stepnaek match when I was out of town. I saw the highlights in Baton Rouge.

nole looks fit as hell and his movement was crisp.


I don't think he has been resting his wrist. he has been working very hard on his fitness and he has been training on the practice courts.

That definitely opens up Nadal's draw I might as well add. Tsonga is out to Raonic in straight sets.

melzer must be 100 years old too. age means nothing to these guys these days emma.


he is hanging in there with andy murray for the moment anyway.

Melzer is playing very well and Andy's struggling at the net. We are heading to a TB.

Andy wins the TB and the 1st set. Melzer was able to win only 1 point in the TB even though he played equally well throughout the 1st set but the TB.

haas, dr ivo, stepanek are just about ageless. they are still out there.

and how about those bryan brothers: they are approaching nearly 40.

Yep. Andy gets broken but breaks right back and now he won the match. Solid performance though his first serve % wasn't as good as yesterday but then again he had a few aces (6) today. Also saw a few errors. Melzer played very well in both sets and tested Andy.
