I wish andy murray had been in the other 1/2.

people just don't understand how good he is on all surfaces. the man has won the u.s. open and he has won Wimbledon. his game translates well on all surfaces.

he has been hampered by a bad back for nearly 2 years. all he needs is some more time on clay.

anyway I think andy murray would have had a good chance of making the final if he had been in nole's 1/2.

it is going to be hard to deal with nadal once he gets going. nadal will have his trials and tribulations early on but is likely to hit his stride by the time he arrives in the semis.

We've got a wise guy on our side, herc darling and finally! However he's only 13 years old but hey. lol

Not sure if s/he will read this but warm welcome!

102 members and counting.

I have no idea how old these people are emma.

but it is good news for us. some day we will have 300 or more and a few of them will post somewhat actively.

that will be good enough for us.

these things simply take time. people find it very hard to break away from twitter and facebook.

I am able to enjoy all 3 and more. hell I must be a member of at least 10 forums and I am not even around most days.

so you can see it takes very little time to sort of stay in touch. it takes me merely a fraction of a second to make a post and say hello to somebody.

what happened to our friend general Javier the fearless? I guess he has no time at all.

must be busy making the big bucks.

Neither do I. I was only teasing wiseguy13. He's probably referring to the year 2013 for all I know.

Javier is getting older by his own admission. He's probably now married and is about to have a baby or something. Lots of responsibilities! lol.

I kid, Javi. :)

Hi everyone. Just back after being at Roland Garros. Got wi fi in hotel. No Andy today as Clay said and it rained quite a bit but i did get to sample some of the atmosphere including the Stan defeat and Nole win. Wished Heather Watson good luck as she walked right in front of me. My souvenir was the French Open tennis balls.

Hola Anikh. :) So how was it? How was your day? I take it then you had the tickets to the Center court since you got to see Nole followed by Stan losing. haha. Anyway, Andy was put on on court Suzy so you wouldn't have seen him anyway. Did you get to see him practicing though?

I like Heather Watson very much. Am glad you get to see her and wish her. Glad you got the tennis balls. Post pictures of the balls please and all the other pictures as well. :)

And good to have you back. Hopefully your trip was well worth it despite the rain!

morning anikh, emma, and company.

rough day for dimitrov today in paris. he was removed from the facilities by dr ivo.

almagro is out too. so some big names have fallen.

Yep, too bad about Dimitrov really. I don't like his showboating but this draw needed him. Oh well. Too bad about Almagro too. Poor thing couldn't even finish the 1st set.

More upsets on this side especially concerning Nadal's half and perhaps his qtr. It doesn't matter what happens now though.

I can't speak for the other Murray fans but I am okay with wherever Andy falls - either on Nole's side or Nadal. I can't say for sure he would have definitely beaten Nole had they met. Similarly, I can't say he wouldn't be able to beat Nadal at RG. Who can say for sure what future holds, really. I don't like to guess it. One day at a time and one match at a time. I like to accept things as they are and as they unfold.

I was not aware of dimitrov's showboating. I missed it.

at any rate he is not the only one. stan said he can defeat anybody and that it is always on his racquet. he also said that he was one of the favorites for the title at RG.

not very respectful if you ask me when rafa, roger, andy, and nole are still out there competing.

he is good but he is not consistent enough for these 4 top guns. he got his once in a lifetime win over nole and one over nadal at the Australian Open but now its over.

he is not likely to beat them ever again on any surface. at least I don't see it happening anyway.

Hi Anikh, please resize your pictures before posting. You can use Paint or Photoshop or Microsoft Office Picture Manager to resize them - to maybe 50% and then save the new size. Once done you can upload all those saved pictures. If it still says too big then you'll need to resize them a bit more. Good luck!

Dimitrov showboats all the time - it's nothing new, really.

As to Stan, that will teach him. His success has definitely gone to his head. This was a reality check for him.

what up Emma. I am chilling at the Hollywood Casino.

will be having dinner shortly before heading for home.

no real surprises really so far. dimitrov and Stan are incredible athletes and amazing tennis players but they are not in the same class as Andy, Rafa, Nole, and Roger.

I know it is a harsh reality but they will learn that sooner or later.

This is very sick and I really hate reading about it. Of course all sorts of killings are happening everywhere anyway. You will find husbands killing their wives all the time and some of them were bludgeoned to death while they were asleep. You will see these real life stories in 48 Hours or True Crime Scene etc.

What is more sick about this one is that she was killed by the whole family especially by the male bunch and the father said proudly that he has no regrets. Her only crime was she married someone her family didn't agree upon.

The other day I was listening to one of Wayne Dyer's lectures and there, he talked about a book he recently read and he was astonished to find out that over 1 billion people were slaughtered in the name of Jesus over the last 2000 years. That was very disturbing to find out. I am sure Jesus didn't mean to set such a trend.

It's a sick world, really. In the USA alone, 2 million people are in jail for all sorts of crime. That's a lot of people. All the women in the world should stand up against this kind of killing especially Muslim women.

Know though this is really not a norm back there but happens once in a while like the school shootings in North America. It's definitely not the real picture but still.

Have a nice dinner! How's the weather? It is all lovely here. I went for a long walk yesterday and will probably go tonight too.

Another way to do it Anikh darling, is to perhaps either PM all the pictures to herc darling or to myself. We shall take care of those on your behalf and post them as well. We aim to please after all. ;D
