Thank you.

Yeah, I'm ready. Unfortunately I start working tomorrow so I will miss most of the late (for European folks) matches again.

Is she from ABBA? I vaguely remember their music, but do know how big they were at that time. I like Debbie Harry too. She was on What What Happens Live not too long ago, and she was such a delightful person. Very open, honest, and funny.

Yes, she is from ABBA and represents the first letter of ABBA. She's my favourite singer of all time. Debbie I will put third since I put the other ABBA member Anni-Frid as my 2nd all time favourite singer. I am really not the Whitney Houston or Celine Dion or Mariah Carey type. I prefer Duffy or Amy Winehouse much more. Not at all into Adel or Britney or Katie Perry or Beyonce etc. etc.

I mainly follow rock singers and they are mostly male. Music is my first love. Can't live without it!

Ah, the ABBA girls - voices of angels and cuties in their prime.  Both among my favourite female vocalists. I'll post more thoughts about them - but the thread will be in the Camelot Not Single but Married thread.  Nobody is allowed to post in there apart from me.

Ha ha ha. I am legally married, but separated. Does that mean I am allowed in the thread? I realize that there are rules, and then there are Camelot rules, LOL!

Technically, you should be allowed in, and luckily for you I'm a technical kind of guy.   Camelot security on the other hand... well, their decision making process can sometimes be based on emotion.  The bottom line is you might get escorted to the front of the queue with a VIP pass or you may get bundled into the back of a police van with riot police dogs snapping at your heels.

My suggestion to you is run with the "it's not what you know, it's who you know" kind of argument.  Let security know you're a friend of the baron and your stock rises significantly.  Then ask for Jeeves.  He's my personal servant and security will listen to him. Of course, that will depend on whether I can be bothered telling Jeeves your name to begin with.  A couple of nice pro-Federer posts here and there will go a long way toward jogging my memory on your friendship when I issue Jeeves with his daily orders.

Ha ha ha. Fabulous post. Too funny. Very creative I loved.

First step in the right direction.

Congrats to Federer for his fantastic run at the Cincy title. Once he got past Murray it was a done deal. Who thought David would put up a challenge? Amazing the way he is playing this late in his career.

How's that?

Well TT - you're halfway to Valhalla - and that's the nickname for the thread not the traditional Viking heaven of harps and virgins.

A couple of posts means two pro-Federer scribbles.  So far, we're on one.  It's a good start but the champagne is still on ice.

Your current scenario is that you are still waiting in line with the regular riff-raff - boyfriends and girlfriends arguing about trivial matters,  gangs of lads squabbling over who paid the most for the taxi and drunken singles dreaming that they might meet their future "soul mate" inside.

Jeeves is looking down the line and he's spotted you.  You've lowered your gaze to avoid eye contact because you know that one pro-Federer post doesn't cut it - only two will see you in.  Jeeves is exchanging small talk with security... who knows what he is saying?  He might be discussing your suitability for admittance or he might be talking about the performance of the Raiders quarterback on Monday Night Football.

Those thoughts dominate your mindset as you shuffle up the line.  Security are talking into their headsets... headsets "legitimize them" and make them think they are ex-Navy Seals.  In reality they are brutes who like smashing in defenceless drunken people's brains out the back in the dimly lit parking lot.

I implore you to write that second pro-Federer post and the message to Jeeves will arrive before you arrive at the front of the queue.

On another news, I heard married people have sex twice a year with their spouses and spend rest of the year apologizing for cheating on their wives.

I think that makes sense but I wouldn't know.

Wow! You are great. I literally laughed out loud. These are my favorite parts. What a quick wit you are.

My challenge and I choose to accept it, not out of fear, but only because I try to be honorable and speak the truth at all times, even if it is my own truth and looked at slightly askance by others. Writing my second post is going to be easy-peasy. Here goes.

Federer has a great chance at bagging his 18th. Andy and Novak will be in a war (if they both get that far) and may be too tuckered out to take on an inspired Federer. There is no one on Federer's side that presents a legitimate threat, so very likely it will be numero 18 to the delight of his fans.

How's that?

Hello everyone, some of you may used to know me from MTF where I was Certinfy, but I look forward to meeting all of you guys here. :)

Just stopping by to give a quick welcome to our newest member Certnity! Hello and welcome. :) Very please to see you here at Emma's. Hope you enjoy your stay but know, "you can check-out any time you like, but you can never leave! " I mean just look at our dear baron (aka 'living in a box').

I kid. :) I've have never been a member of MTF because I see it as children's playground where only extreme views prevail. Tennis Warehouse is all the same, really.

But tell us about yourself a bit more. Who are you favourite players? Perhaps we can start with that.

Hello! Just felt like saying hi again. Was travelling a bit but had to come back earlier because I can't seem to get rid of my tonsillitis. Actually I got back on Tuesday and haven't been out of bed for more than 2 hours since. Got my last batch of antibiotics today. It should be better by Friday next week or else I need to have my tonsils taken out asap.  :'(

Hola Nikki! Long time no see girl. Was just going to say 'hope all is well with you' but I can see it's not. If it bothers you from time to time then perhaps it's good take it out once and for all. In any case, don't stop telling us your newest adventures. :)

Hope you are feeling much better.

Well first of all, this is making me all too dizzy - this series of historical post quoting.

Second TT, please, don't fall for this Federer Land of Trap. We already have all the hell's prisoners on the loose and it's not even cold yet. We don't want to lose you too.

Hola herc darling, I hear some Nadal fans will be skipping USO altogether due to Rafa not being there. What will be your case? Will you be ardently watching or watching hardly?

Not sure why you still can't see those, herc because I can see them all. I have two sets going on just in case so you should be able to see at least the attached ones.

Maybe either Anikh or TT can confirm later. There's not much else I can do right now. You would have liked the photos if you could see those. Ah well but it's possible your computer is from ancient time. lol

See, I just did a test run and I can see the pictures (not the attached ones) even when I am not logged on so it has to be your stupid computer. ;D

Ha ha ha. It's pretty bad when I can see the images. I'm having no problems at all. For a change.

Of course not. It's herc. He's from the Medieval times. He's computer is made of wood. His monitor screen is as such that he can only see the reflection of himself. He can't fool us anymore.

herc darling, please admit like a man that the computer below belongs to you and for once you can see it.

Okay TT, I'll reply to rest of your posts later when I get another break like this one.

Alright, happy USO watching everyone. Wish you all the best to your respective favourite players. May the best player win.

Andy's handed a tough draw perhaps the toughest (Anikh probably needed a shoulder to drink on after seeing the draw) but I am hoping both Haase and Stepanek will prepare Andy for the long haul. It's better to deal with experienced players early on than to deal with fairly newcomers or no namers at a Slam level.

I will catch you guys later when I get a chance.
