the older the better but it is also more expensive.


12 year old black label (blended scotch) will set you back around $35 here now.
18 year old scotch can be as high as $60-$75 depending on the brand.

And about Andy... He won Wimbledon this year.
To be honest, it was the biggest win on a tennis court! I have never been so nervous or happy of a match.
I had to drink so much wine to cope with it even though i believe andy is the best grass court player now.
The pressure he was under, and managed to win. I have no idea how he did it.

andy was beyond magnificent in that match. he had the whole world on the edge of its seat.


it had to be somebody like andy who needed to do it.

I believe he is going to come back stronger than ever after his back surgery related setback. he is going to be so hungry too to get out there and compete and battle.

I had no doubt that Andy was going to win but still, it made me just as nervous. The last game was brutal and Andy speaks about beautifully in his book. I haven't bought it but I have read bits and pieces about it.

And it indeed seemed like the biggest tennis match out there. Although I'd say the encounter between Agassi and Sampras in 2001 at the USO qtr final was one of the biggest I've ever seen. Because these two were American players and they had a great rivalry going on and it was played on their home soil, all these elements made it an incredible match and if I read it right then Kieran had seen it live. God, that makes me so Jealous!

Speaking of whom herc, we must get Kieran over here. I like him too much! He understands where I am coming from and very objective. Very good poster.

Don't laugh but I wonder if I'd ever tried scotch. lol. It's perhaps too hard for me. And I am not much of a drinker, really.

You're not missing anything, if you've never tried scotch, IMO. Can't stand the stuff, but it seems like everyone else I know loves it. I'd rather have red wine or champagne any day.
