I didn't mean to fight with baron but I got really upset over his comments to you. It's not fair. It's not fair at all.

herc, if this forum doesn't take off in the end (just saying), then I am taking off forever. I need you to keep this mind so that you'd avoid asking me to go to another forum. I am really nearly done.

no worries emma. this is home.  this is not going to be a forum.

its just a home to a small society of professionals who are kind, thoughtful, reasonable, and respectable people who like sports and religion.

we have made great strides already. absolutely no reason to believe why additional growth is not going to happen.

we just happen to be near a holiday season. tennis season just ended. i looked at quite a few large forums the other night.

only mtf and tennis warehouse have some activity. they both have well over 25,000 members. we have 41.

i think we will hit 200 by the end of 2014. that is all we need and all we want.

you have to think positive lady. we simply cannot fail. Camelot will live on forever.

there is no such thing as darkness. there is only failure to see. failure is not an option. it is not even a remote option.

i know it is not fair and i hope he knows it too now.

well he is our friend emma. he overreacted or it did not come out quite right. i am not really sure what he was trying to convey. maybe he was trying to put in a plug for his debate team there. yes they talk a lot but i see some bias there anyway.

i find el dude and Kieran the most reasonable and objective there.

we will consider him family and win him over.

at least he is not a coward like the others. slasher and freaky deleted their accounts so as to show us that we were hurting here with the numbers. they are so damned desperate for us to see us fail. i got news for our haters and for our cowards. there is a zero chance Camelot will fail.

as for masterclass, i am starting to lose confidence in him. i sent him no less than 2 pms the other day. he also failed to reply to a couple of my pms at tennis4you also. so i am just going to have to leave him behind. he could have been a part of something sublime and something monumental here but he chose to stand outside and away from Camelot.

he was here and he did not bother to even reply. this gone here and run tomorrow like hell is for 11 year old school kids.

javi is in a relationship and he is taking care of his mom.  i think he is just busy with life.

could pete have held back a little bit at RG because he wanted to pace himself better for the full season?

i mean his results were exceptional at Wimbledon, u.s. open, and at the end of the season.

this is going to be a lousy example but guys like querrey and Roddick are on record for saying they wanted to conserve and take their best shots at Wimbledon and other quicker courts.

Roddick sure skipped a lot of clay events.

lousy example in a sense that Roddick and querrey would not have won much on clay anyway. there are just too many great players around.

Well, he did make the AO final in 1995 and didn't attend twice in his career otherwise he might have done better there. He won 2 AOs. So his AO results are by no means something to sneeze at. I don't think he entirely held back when it came to RG, but can't say he was on full throttle either. Wimbledon was very dear to him and that was his priority. Perhaps if there was a very nice gap in between and if nothing was at stake, he might have gone for higher chances and could have won at least managed 1 RG. But he wasn't very lucky with the draws there and there were just too many clay courters around at that time. And his game also didn't automatically suit the surface. He did not grow up on clay and had never practiced on it. Federer played a lot on clay growing up so he was more familiar with the surface, but still, Guga, Corretja were merciless to him. And Nadal later.

Guga, Corretja all past their prime by 2005 and left the field wide open for others to take it. The only worthy clay courter who was still young and around was Ferrero, but he wasn't as good as Guga.

Let masterclass post when he feels like posting, herc. Let's not force matter. I am fine with it.

affirmative. no worries. I am glad he is helping baron. I don't have a problem with it. it is what it is. we are going places anyway.

I am often doing the same thing in a way. I went over to tennis warehouse and a couple of other forums and added some value and made some friends in the process.

just look at the number of people I brought to baron's forum. I guess I can do it and I don't ever mind helping people. funny thing is that it never seems to take that much extra time for me. I enjoy helping people.

he is a tough general who has fought many hard battles for me. I thought he would be here for us with this brand new project. it was also a chance to become a part of a great story for a change.  we all had been running around and getting kicked around at other forums.

anyway in the mean time, check out your new super sig.

impressive stuff.

I will email some of the others that I like on the other site. It would be great if we could get more quality posters.

I will also email you as I have something that I would like to add to the forum, with you and Ms. Emma's approval, of course!

You don't need my approval at all. I trust your judgement completely and entirely. Please feel free to do whatever you think is the best!

Yes, I love it, herc. You didn't ask who it is.

And yes, the middle one is an Indian actress - the one in the blue print shirt.

I have to go now. Got a headache for some reason. Goodnight and thanks for everything.

i hear ya.

what about Edberg and Michael Stich? were they good on clay? did they win any clay events at all that you can recall from the top of your head?

i know becker once took Muster to 5 sets at Monte Carlo but he failed to win a single clay event during his tenure at ATP.
