I went on livescorehunter.com and caught several games of the last few sets.

So happy for Berdy. 1st win on Laver!

Underdog for both Stan and Nole, but this is a new day. You never know what will happen.

I'll pass on the cheap beer... Needs to be a quality European lager.

Federer/Murray is the tie of the round. I fancied Murray before the tournament to prevail should they meet, but having watched them both, got to favour Federer at this point.

Why did you fancy Murray before the tournament? What was the basis of that? As I see it, Murray lost to Mayer in the 2nd round in AD while Federer went on to lose to Hewitt in Brisbane in the final. Judging by the two results, clearly Federer was the more in form player. So again, what was your basis before the tournament?

Very tough loss for Nole. He was a break up in the 5th but Stan broke him right back. I didn't get to see the rest of it and that was the only part I was able to see as I was getting ready for work. Didn't like the quality of the match however. I do think Nole needs to improve his serve and perhaps Becker can help him in that department.

Didn't get to see Berdych vs Ferrer either. I actually like this match up so would have been nice to watch it but since I didn't get any sleep the other night, I decided to go to bed early last night. Will have to look for it in CETs' video section. I am very happy for Berdych. He's been playing very good in this tournament since the start and would have given Nole problems too, so while at first glace Nole's draw looked quite easy, it in fact wasn't given the later potential. I hope he makes the final and if he does than it will be his 3 final. That will be pretty awesome. 

Nadal's draw has turned out to be a cakewalk regardless with Del Potro losing early and Murray being not 100%. Federer is almost never a threat to Nadal. While all the other guys are battling really experienced players in the QTR finals, he'll be facing a first timer in the QTR. So much fuss over his apparently 'tough' draw.

Would like to see Dimi tonight but the ladies are first and I have no desire to stay up since I may have to wake up for Andy's match if I can. In any case I won't be able the watch the ending of the match since I leave for work early. But of course if Andy's losing then I probably wouldn't want to watch that part anyway.

Oh no one mentioned - Buchard into the semi. I take it her run ends here though. I'd like to see her or Radwanska win the title but it will most probably be Azarenka.

Nole losing to Wawrinka?  I really didn't see this one coming.
