I am just trying out different looks for now.
i wanted to see if the Wimbledon look works a little bit because of the connection between Camelot and England.
and of course we can keep changing the cover images as we move along.
Morning herc, I am able to log in today from work computer. Some days I just simply can't however I can browse.
Anyway, the banner looks great however, the Wimbledon colour (green) is not going with the theme colour of the forum (blue and purple). Wimbledon also has purple, isn't it? Maybe that would be more prominent and will bring out the forum. Just an idea I am giving you.
I absolutely love your idea of changing it from time to time. I don't get people who don't want any changes and stuck in one thing forever. Murray forum, for example, has a banner that looks at least 30 years old (lolol) and I've asked Mark to change it a few times, but he's quite anal about it. lol. Oh well. Thank God we are not married or else we'd be on constant war on changing things in the house. I can see how that would have gone. I like change; I like new things.
I have no idea why Simon is losing to Ferrer in Paris where the surface is hard and it is played indoor. He had more titles at this stage on this surface than Federer at the same age. Not only that, he's a few years younger than Ferrer so he should be more into it. But Ferrer is hard to get by I get that and that's why I am not a big fan of him.
morning emma. i am just waking up here.
making some coffee at the moment. i agree about the lack of color coordination.
we will figure something out. i just wanted to see how that one looked at the top. i can also change the color of the banner later and see how that comes out.
Nole has just lost the 1st set to Isner in TB. A very fresh Isner is a tough customer on this surface for anyone. I remember how much he took out of Andy at the 2011 USO qtr final to the point, he didn't have much fighting spirit left for Nadal in the semi. Unfortunate that was.
The heading font colour has changed to light green. Looks awful, herc.
The new theme looks great, General!
morning general freaky, lady emma, and the others.
well this is all trial and error anyway. we will just keep tinkering until we are able to find the best possible look.
and then we may change once a month or once a week.
maybe we will ask people to post the banners they would like to see on the top. Camelot belongs to the people anyway.
anyway i am running late.
see you all a little later.
Nole bags the 2nd set 6-1. I suppose Isner let it go a bit and perhaps about it pick up in the 3rd.
i was just about to step out of the door.
I decided to check the scores. nole has stormed back.
del potro has also managed to get back in the match.
http://www.tennisexplorer.com/live/#inscore_ifheight_xdc_6343I was just thinking: javi had told me that he was going to put nadal in his sig if he won the u.s. open.
so we will ask him about it when we see him.
Bye bye Isner, bye bye Dimitrov. It was nice knowing you. Have a nice life etc.

The great Federer is on. Kohlschreiber is a good player so let's see what he can do here.
nole and del potro are just too good.

we can do anything here. we own the place.
people can have all kinds of choices with banners.
various slam banners is also a cool idea.
we can experiment with a banner at the bottom of the page also.
so we have another federer vs del potro battle brewing.
should be interesting.
