Now is the time for push for a break.
how? he is clueless on returns.
again pushing the damn ball.
and also is there anybody on the planet who cant volley better than nadal?
Pathetic returning game from Rafa today. He needs to work on that the most during the off season.
poor returning will cost you matches on this surface.
it doesn't make the other guy work and it puts you in the bind in your own service games.
did you se that last return?
just pathetic.
you simply cannot win if you cannot return well to break serve.
he was not doing that in montreal. he was also not doing that in cinci.
again endless pushing and it costs him.
Yep, he doesn't believe he can't win anymore in this match.
he is here in London but he does not have any energy to fight hard.
you can just see it even in his movement. he is not moving his feet.
Now the only person who can bring Rafa back in the match is Nole - if he starts missing
that is spot on.
nadal is not doing a damn thing to grab the bull by the horn.
he has made it almost too easy for nole by playing club level tennis.
its over general tee.
you cant win against nole by pushing the ball back.
nadal has near zero confidence in his backhand and his ground game.
and worse, he has no mustard on his shots.
I don't think I have ever seen him return this poorly.
hell he cant even get nole`s 2nd serve back.
Yes, and he is not moving well at all. That's ok, I never expected him to do that much this year anyways. Hopefully he trains hard and dethrones Nole at the Australian Open.
nadal cant seem to do anything off the ground.
did you see that last 2 forehands. 2 sitters and he nets them.
unbelievable. I guess we sort of knew this would happen. we saw how terrible he was against Federer yesterday.
this was really to be expected.

True, but he was much better during sets 1 and 3 against Berdy. Ok, at least he saved a match point and held. Moment of truth now...
