So our dearest masterclass thinks Federer will be back to No. 1 next year. Muhahahahahhahahaha. Cute. I like it. :p
But of course, we live in the world of possibilities and by that notion, anything is possible but know, the uncertainty principle doesn't care for a set of rules and will play a crucial part in the so called prediction world. You maybe logical ... reasonable even in your thinking, but it's just one dice that will make your world go all upside down. :p
Federer arrived in Brisbane today.
lets see how it goes.
you wont see Edberg there yet. he makes an appearance in Melbourne.
morning sports fans.
just 8 days to go now for the australian open.
i am all fired up.
So am I oh man of many names, DM, CD, and herc, ha ha ha.
Rafa is looking good. Not at his optimum, but looking dang determined to get there.
I am loving his new aggressiveness that he manages without an abundance of errors.
Eight more days. Woohoo!
lady Emma and general masterclass call me Hercules.
I can think of a name & it's not DM/CD or Hercules.

Agree with you about the aggressiveness. His serve, however, was very safe - high percentage but he just span it in most of the time. I wish he could serve like at the USOpen 2010

Nevertheless, entertaining match today and a great start of the year for Rafa!
I think he'll pick his level up for a major, especially one that he wants so desperately. I'm also sure that he'll work on that serve. Winning a title for the first time before the Oz should have him feeling pretty confident.
Now he can go home and prepare. It's good that he didn't play as well as he can. This gives him room for improvement and it also prevented him from peaking too early. The Oz is where he needs to peak, and I hope he does.
