Was squeezed of every ounce of oxygen
Wounds were weeping with pus of infected sores
Confused by the poisonous infections
Clarity became empty in it seemingly void less pit
In her debilitating state she was still planning to even the score
Befuddled yet contemptuously conniving a calculated perfection
She worked off the fumes of avarice and greed
She was not a fore gone conclusion
Wiping away the blood that stained her outfit
It was the fight of the fittest
Inert from her dubiously disillusioned state
Every ounce of her ached
Deep down she knew she had to escape
The hounds of hell that nipped at her heels
It was time to go
Yet atwixt these last moments
Shocked and afraid that a torrent of emotional flood gates
We’re raring to push her past the point of no return
Or fall into the abyss

Is being obscured by the drug filled haze
Words of love and hate completely violated

Yet he kept taking, she kept giving
He kept promising, she kept on believing
Hoping, praying,
On his hopeful sayings
She didn’t want to officiate or propagate
Yet there she stood
Glaringly empty words obliterating
Any dreams they had for one another
She lost him, and the other
He lost her, and his mother
They continue to ache for yesterday
Can’t live together for tomorrow
Forget today
Their addictions caused many of their afflictions
The haze has lifted
Reality has stricken and the light is glaring

In her heart and her soul had already yelled at her
In high pitched sounds
Shaking her out of the reverie
That seemed to keep her hostage
She felt dirty in his presence
She hated his scent in her nostrils
That fake smile that didn’t even reach his eyes any longer
His salacious look at her body made her sick to her stomach
Vices and virtues of life’s experiences
Blood is still boiling
The need to recoil from all this left her deathly sick
She needed to release this shark infested game
They’ve been swarming all around for a very long time
Hoping she collapse and fall
Watching them swarm around like hyenas
To remove all of the meat from her bones on her death
