People hoping to get into Nevada’s budding medical marijuana business can apply for a state license in August.

The Nevada Division of Public and Behavioral Health announced Friday that it will accept applications from Aug. 5 through Aug. 18.

Each application for a dispensary, cultivation or processing facility requires a nonrefundable $5,000 fee.

The agency will then rank all applications.

To guard against favoritism, the agency says applicants are prohibited from submitting their responses on company letterhead. Additionally, individual names of owners, officers and other principals cannot appear on certain pages of the application.


Applicants are eligible to apply whether or not they have applied for a license from a local government.

Property owners must also authorize in writing the use of their property for a medical marijuana establishment.

​The cannabis sector suffered another "Monday meltdown."   28% of the stocks rose in price, with 2 double-digit percentage gainers and 6 double-digit percentage losers. Stocks with volume above the 30-day average fell from 26% to 18%, with one stock trading over $5mm in value.  Two of the ten highest dollar-volume stocks rose in price as just two issues traded above $1mm. Green Cures (GRCU) bounced back following weeks of decline since the symbol change, with volume increasing from below-average levels.   Quasar Aerospace (QASP) took off on higher volume, though it failed to clear the highs from early June.  Nuvilex (NVLX) closed above the 10dma, but volume contracted.

GrowBLOX (GBLX) continued to sell off, with volume increasing.   Abattis Bioceuticals (ATTBF) fell to the lowest closing  level since February as volume increased.  Vapor Group (VPOR) broke the May lows as volume increased from below-average levels.

that was another reason to create a little board here for our stocks. now we have another place where we can pass along ideas and tips about stocks.


they ban a little bit too much at IHub. The Apostle did not do anything wrong.


I am sure he was just annoyed by the haters, bashers, and the attackers.

I am still trying to figure out what happened.

now a number of people believe that the only way so many shares could have been available to short is if remuda capital was involved.


they are saying that remuda shorted which set off a mass panic.

they then bought back some or all of the cheaper shares in order to replace them for easy money/profits.



if remuda really owns 36 million shares then there was not much float to be had.


insiders own quite a bit too.
