Fathomless depths of the buoyant waters
Falling back
Floating aimlessly
Innately knowing
That nothing really matters
Ocean sounds echo
What’s been playing in my heart
School of fish catch the
Light of the moon
Swimming by as their fins are glowing
Plummeted in the oceans blue
The quiet seems to silent
My mind in a meditative stance
Every inch of my skin
Feels a tingle
With the ability to connect
To the calming of the oceans inhabitants
Smiling as they swim around and mingle
It’s a treasured getaway
Where much is answered
In the quiet of the day
Realizing I’m never in control
I’m never in control

There’s something in the way you smile
That mischievous glint in your eyes
They sparkle with a light
Makes me understand why
Matters not the miles away
Or what many have to do or say
Our path was guided that fateful night
When I wished upon a star
Special is your Magickal flight
Through trials and tribulations
We’re walking arm in arm
After many years afar
Recalling your delicious charm
Realizing we’re each other’s fate
Tonight is the start of our combined
Destinations

Only to discover
Late on that fateful night
You wished upon the same star

Obscured through the massive trees
Each step taken
Not always forward
Many have been mistaken
Petrified by the cosmic vastness
Fear has solidified
As though my legs are drowned
In concrete cement
Suffocated
The yearning of those days elated
Innocence of simpler times
Where I naively believed
Unconditionally
In the powers of true affection
Where all I touched
Those I interchanged interaction
Seemed real
Though now I understand
Superficially
Built on walls of fear and conviction

Sadly I succumb
My views of loving
Freely
Appears to be embraced
By
None

Confusion flooded in
Nothing appeared
Through the brain fog

Forced silence
Walking meditation
Brought forth the clarity
That only came
I’m solitude
Connecting with my spirit

Connecting with my inner knowing
That knows better
Than my ego
Any day

It’s talking about the stars
And the weather
Wanting to know more about you
What makes you laugh

It’s agreeing to disagree
Healthy debates
It’s pillow fights
It’s water fights

Leading playfully
Back to where I belong
In your arms
Again

Deep in thoughts
Wondering what it’s like on the other side
How is it that once we awake
The dreams we sought
Are quickly forgot
Being a spirit
Are we in for a greater ride
Filled with more adventures
Free of fear, much more to partake?

Whilst in my questioning debate
A beautiful monarch butterfly
Flew across the street
At first I thought it was a tiny bird
But as it came closer
Definitely a Monarch butterfly

Most recently I read in a book
To be alert to the signs
It’s October and the weather has been
Blissful
When I saw the butterfly
I had to take a second look
A smile crossed my face as it flew by me
But a foot away
It flew up close and personal
As if to say
Here is the sign
That you’ve been asking all day
Manifestation in mere hours
Nature’s beauty and design
Arrived just after
What feels like summer showers
In the fall
