Peering into the mirror
Cheval glass reflects my back
Continuous stabbings have left markings
Discoloured & puckered the wounds are healing
Yet the pain shoots through the length of my spine
Sounds reverberate still pounding in my head
The dread of dealing with the unknown assailant
Convulsing from the agony of cramping
Distressed by the discomfort
From my wounded pride
Trust broken from my closest friend
Who professed love til the end
Traitor literally took my kindness for a ride
