Spring has sprung, the cycle of birth
Snow is melting, the ground is pliable
Glorious possibilities of the soil is liable
The sun shines long strokes, kissing

Tree branches are budding
Walk by ️it scratching your flesh
Embracing all seasons beauteous grace
Sunlight or moonloght, it shines off your face
Spring cycle beckons
Freedom from layers of clothing

The lake appears so quiet & still
For its true what they say, still waters run deep
Glorious rolling green of the hill
Darkness falls the like black ink it slowly seeps
Howling of the wolves claiming their disdain
Vampire King travels out in the plain
Charming seductive you can feel it in the air
For this pulchritudinous Lord has savoire faire
His demeanor denotes it's his time to snare
When he pounces on his victim all will be surprised
He cares not whether he is liked or despised
There is only one thing, just one thing on his mind
He is out & about  searching for his one great find
