I love your latest poem. I've just come back from our gala. I had a hotdog, went on the hook a duck, had a few goes & won big on tombolas, saw the horse & pony show, cheerleaders, dancers & a band as well as batman (well someone dressed up as him).

Communication is unspoken
Nuances of our eyes

Euphoria continuous
When we're together
Everything seems to fade
We're oblivious

I savour
Our own infinite love bubble
Where sounds are pleasing
Touch is teasing

Friendship

It's not a passing fancy
For me
It's a symbolic relationship
Where love, trust & support
Of all your dreams
From infancy
To limitless possibilities
Plus our incredible rapport

It's the ones that have your back
Not just the good times
Mostly there when you think you lack
Fair weather acquaintances
Come and go

Our symbiotic attachment
Is a compliment, we grow
Of how we survive
Twists and turns
Time may fly
As we watch the fire embers burn
Confiding in each other
As we embrace and cry

Knowing that you're there
Whether text, call
Or you make your way here
I give you my all

Friends for life
Perhaps many lives
Combatting strife
We're quite the match
Scheming on how to always
Have fun
Things that we hatch

Feels like having plunged
Into the depths of water
Unable to swim
Watching the air bubbles
Swirl around my head
Inability to heed the warning signs
Concluded in foolish games
Words spoken infused with lies
Actions non evident
Texting was your way to keep
Me on the hook
Removing all that ties
Continue working on the book
Memories were sweet
As I keep drifting in the water
Immense surge of energy
Kicking my feet
To break the moon glistening surface
Breathing in the coolness of the night
Diving in
Internally
Helped with clarity
Scissors were handed me
I was too blind to see
It's over for me too
