I've loved you a thousand times
I will love you a thousand more
Two worlds collided when we entwined
Twisted & turned
We lovers burned
For each other
For many lives
Recognized our souls connection
It was "I can't believe" moment
When truly it is "I believe"
I am standing in front of you
Asking you to remember me
To unify our bodies
Explosive souls
To make our stories unfold
With each other
Our version of
To have and to hold

My hair is long again
Mother Mary came with angels, she said
It was Christmas Day so long ago
Today I came across a picture of us playing
She's sent me a sign
A must for me to realign
Smiling as Samantha did
This memory felt like yesterday
Lighting a candle for her miraculous appearance
As I whispered I love you my friend

Winters stark chill
Has seeped in under the
Window sill
Crisp cool breeze
As temperatures plummet
To a deep blue freeze
City roads look salty white
Walking the streets
Holding onto your jacket tight
Suns hiding behind
A cloud again
Distant seems the memories
Of pouring rain
Piles of grey snow
By the sidewalk edge
Step gingerly ice may
Hide close to the ledge
Mid February closes us
To half the winter
Craving its end
Like an ice cold splinter
Much has not changed
Through the passing of
45 days
Spring is near
Transformation is rapid
This time of year

Expressions oscillating
Like a pendulum
Fluctuating back and forth
Between dark and light
Plunging into the abyss
Flying high into the heavens
Effortless the words spill
As my quill bleeds droplets
Of my blood
Every word a procession
Harvested from the depths
Of my soul
Speaking from the
Fluttering of my heart
Recalling snippets of the past
Relationships that wouldn't last
Prodigiously the words flow
Pages upon pages
Revelling at every level of emotions
Streaming through from the top of head
To the tips of my toes
Emanating in every vibration
Constant thoughts overflowing
Written by hand
Resulting in chapters
Evolving into books
Complexities of everyday life
