Triumphant wishes do come true
I wished for a white Christmas
Through and through
Ten inches of the fluffy snow
With sub zero temperatures
Snow ball fights
We gave it a go
Many became masters of the situation
Forming their snowballs
Without hesitation
With speedy succession
Ball after ball
Running away
I had quite a fall
Into a snowy embankment
Crisp, packable white snow
Since I was down on the ground
Snow angels became the substitution
Smiling as they created a transformation
More fun was  to be found
Today’s little escapade
Reminded me when I was just a small babe
Loving this snowy Christmas
Wintry games evolution

I often question
More so of late
Why we must observe so much destruction
Hate and pain
Shaking my head at everything
That has little to do
With kindness and love
My questions of late
Are overwhelming
A gentle reminder:
We’re all souls inhabiting
Temporary bodies
Yet we deceive ourselves
Believing the opposite

We’re here for a short time
Spread love

2017 is coming to a close in North America
In Australia it’s begun
Looking back at all
The trials and tribulations
Enemies that mended fences
Close friends who were always enemies discovered
Disruptive wars
Incomprehensible abuse
Unwarranted slander
Mass deaths at the hands of psychos
People talking with forked tongues
Malice filled with a blood chalice

I’m disgusted by all the hate

Snow and cold are prevalent here
Winter wonderland
Sun is glistening on the freshly minted snow

My focus has been
Always will be
On spreading love

I don’t care what people think of me
Gone is the bloom of my 20’s or 30’s
Where it mattered
In my 40’s it’s where the Rose
Tinted glasses
Fell off my face
They shattered

Caring what others think
Dissolves all possible dreams
It’s losing control of your own life
Allowing others to edit
And rearrange your story
In manipulation

Taking back your power
Is where it’s at
Mistakes I’ve made
A ton
Perfection left me inert
In fearful Levels catatonic
I’m stripping off all the back stabbings
I’ve dealt with
Negative commentary
When I realized
Was all from their perceptions
With no care of my directions

I stand here naked
Almost like a confessional
I’m done

Each step I take
Is one I’ve deigned to live
One I’ve decided
I love and believe in God
I believe in the Divine White Light Entourage
Yeshua, Mother Mary, Saints, arch angels too
I’m also a pagan through and through
It’s partially due to my heritage
Partially due to my inner knowing
My gut instincts

Power is in hand
Letting go and releasing 2017
Many of my loved ones have crossed over
I smile serendipitously as they
Send signals of their ingenuity

2018 I’m prepared for something amazing
If my foot was on the brakes
It’s off
Ready
Set
Go!

2017 is coming close to the end of a volume
As in any good book
All aspects kept the suspense
All of us on the edge of our seats
Mystery enshrined
Looking behind the curtains
Hoping for a delightful surprise to find
Alas, that isn’t the case all the time

2018
Every page I write
For this is my new volume
Chapter one
Is hours away
Sit back and watch me play
Or come in to the frenzied fray
