Believe in possibilities where magic exists
Taking a leap of faith and dispelling all myths
That’s where I foresee life full of chances
Where magic persists

We’re in lockdown since November 2020
It’s been extended yet again
To February 2021
Limited our time in the outdoors
With fines rivalling of the thousands
Members of the government playing games
Taking selfie’s at home
Only to fly away
Vacations in the sun
Where most of us are motivated by fear to stay home
While they who command lay in the beach having fun

The act is real
The fear creating anxiety for all ages
This has been in the making
Reported by all the sages
Seething slowly in different stages
Of rage and disgust
Wearing a mask is a must
For those who made a lower wages

Conundrum of falsehoods
Too much commotion; too hard to bear
Falsehoods spewed by the news
Every single moment, every single day

We need to awake from this plandemic nightmare
And these faulty tests
Suicide is at its highest
Children as young as 5 commit to die
My heart is broken.
For those who cried and no one heard what
They had spoken
My heart breaks
There’s much at stake
Can’t wait until the curtain falls
Hoping we’ll be able to break these cryptic walls
And take back life

Love fell from your lips with a smile
Then a grin
One look from your eyes
My heart skipped a beat
Our life has transpired across the lands
Opposite coasts
Even through thousands of miles
We both profess our love staring at the same skies
The sun beats down on us
And moon beams shine
Zoom has become our host
Internet at times fluid stream or a frozen picture
Delightful laughter
You still look fine
From this coast

Happy Valentines
Young and old
Sending love,
Whispers of hope

Serenity of the still waters
Where thoughts linger
Over thinking has been the terror of late
When hearts unite
That’s what truly matters
A lonely heart brightens
When one reaches out to connect
Difficult on these times of social distancing
Peer group pressure of pointing fingers of blame
To instigate hate
In the realm of righteousness

In the stillness do within
Break free from the game
Breath and know what appears to be menacing
Is an illusion

But the web woven
Needs to be broken
When love is encapsulated
Heals all the wounds
And fear is sedated

Words spoken with fervour
Each syllable breathing fire
Actions denote betrayal
Squashing all remnants of desire
Pink shattered glasses at the foot of the bed
Strange memories keep playing in my head
It’s not the words you spoke that betrayed me most
It’s the recovery of each memory

Plethora of emotions tore at her insides
Wheezing sounds emitted softly
The untruths were swirling around her head
Staring at the mirror and looking at the hollowness reflected
There is nowhere to hide
Frozen catatonic by the lies
Fragments swirling seeing red in fits of anger
Aches and pains surging through her body
By his mishandled hands
Her head is screaming danger
But words cannot escape her lips
As her shivering thighs continue to knock at the knees
The inability to stand and walk
Has left her bereft of breathe
Unable to talk
Left speechless despising what her eye sees
