Young children need to be loved and protected
Not used and abused to suit their purposes
Lessons learned contemptuous surfaces
Deep down are the evil disguises in innocuous forms

Forced many back
All are affected

Colder than expected
Hallowe’en is days away
Dressing up to cause a fright
Mike Myers behind the mask may be detected
Perhaps the sexy sultry sirens
Addams, Munsters, Vampira or Elvira
Mistresses of the dark
Captivating and stark difference from the girl next door
Many more of the exotic ones than just the four
Halloween is more than child’s play
Adults dress up
Sparking up imaginations
Even up the score
Visual excitations

Words shared had meaning
Entwined feelings of love
Actions combined confirmed and well meaning
By the grace of God
All happens in perfect timing
God is Love

Disturbing, yes.

Tipsy turvy
This way or that
I say white you say black
Anger ignited by a few chosen words
Communication requires both listening and speaking
Written word gets lost without tone
Sarcasm doesn’t read well
Dispositions have twisted thought processes
Loss of lives have been on the uptick
All we need is to spread love
We’re ready to pounce instead of share love
Generation X will die and Generation Z will pounce and bury
He, him, she, her, they, them, ze, zey, furry, unicorn, rainbow, gender, sex, binary, non binary
It’s not about inclusion, it’s about segregation
Sadness in these 2022 times of babel
For we seem to speak the same languages and yet we don’t

Be kind, you have no idea what anyone is going through, none at all

And so it began
Another chapter to the story
It’s evolution seems long and arduous
Many emotions surfaced happiness to worry
So much happening
Much quicker that the timepiece and grains of sand
Hard to conceptualize what’s wrong or right
Information coming at us from all directions
Some protest, some speak, some internalize, some fight
Consumed by the need to express
Still feeling confounded by the subterfuge of communications
Sifting through long threads trying to find the truth
Encumbered by string possibilities of deceptions
Our politicians speak in forked tongues
Our PM paid the mainstream media $600 million
And boasts about greasing the wheels
Flashing his sparkly blues
Don’t look at his face for truth
Falsified stories are always his news
Depending on who he’s talking to
Flashing his smile hoping to charm you

Veil is thinner than before
2 + 2 does
Not make four
It’s about perspectives
