It’s governments and people in control
Who keep them in place

Just re watched field of dreams
Where the fantasies allow you to revisit those you love
That passed years ago, so it seems
The tears escaped by eyes with such fluidity
The ache in my heart felt as though
You all just passed, my stupidity
Memories flooded of trips to the beach
Or excursions of summer time playing catch
Getting that luscious ice cream cone for each of us
The summer heat beaten by the reward of the cone
I’m grateful this film
Incurred such sweet memories
And connected me to that oh so special zone

Blood flying with each death defying strike
Tearing of the skin off HIS back
Their sadistic nature to torture Him
God Forgive Us for our cruelty

Picking up our cross to bare
The act of taking the leap of faith and trusting
When all around it’s struggles
Social media it’s hard to care
Superfluous written words
It’s all a fight for who is right
The anger shown is strenuously taking up their swords
Completely frustrating
The right to bear arms in the states
After years of lockdowns
Has now brought on senseless shootings
I swear the video games have helped create these horrible scenes
Only in the video games you push a button and start again
In this realm, lives have lost
Their journey is at the end
