Ever so lucky to find one so fair
Blessed for many years beyond compare
Thoughts pass by that make me shiver
Blessed and touched for years to come
Infused with memories
Bequeathing poems all that my soul can share
Emotions run deep
Love of my heart is one for keeps

The sun shone brightly after we all weathered the downpour of intense rain
Happily the union was not affected by the mishaps
The pendulum was swinging back and forth
Mindfulness overthinking struck through perhaps
Mattered not
The love they bore for each other
Shone like bright electricity between them
Their eyes spoke volumes as late comers clattered in loudly
It didn’t disturb the celebrations that were continuing in session
Everyone around them seemed self engrossed trying to capture a clip
A pic, or hopefully a moment
The two were oblivious of them
Most certainly focused on each other
As sacred vows were exchanged
In attendance was spirits that past
Wishing them well for this love to last
A commitment that took some time to defend
Many factors of fears finally came to an end
Laughter and tears of joy bloomed
Like the springlike flowers all across the room
Beauteous love swept through and through
Church bells ringing as psalters singing
This is the first day of many years to come

Awakening to the gentle wind blowing
The soft light touch of sprinkling of rain
The desire to connect to nature
Listening to the birds chirping to break fast
Dusk of 4:00 am needing sustenance as the newbies are growing
Grateful for the joys of living in the present
With a few memories budding in from the past
Joyful ones of loved ones gone
The beauty of what they planted
Still growing strong
We’re blessed and we don’t acknowledge it
We’re loved and we misalign with it
We’re guided but we don’t listen to it
Time to rearrange the thought patterns
And welcome the gifts that keep flowing in

Life has a magical way of making things happen
A thought crops up and soon after Shazam
It’s happened
The density on earth makes it feel
As though we’re walking through cotton fields
Arduous and difficult task
Trying to tiptoe in high heels
Balancing a book
Too much to ask
I have to say
When serendipity occurs out of the blue
Something spectacular wholesome and new
Manifestions are magical and true
