So nice to see Nole having fun with Rafa lately in exos. Looking relaxed!
He didn't look so good in WTF. But now he looks like a different person than the one we saw in WTF. I was a bit worried for him.

affirmative.

looks like they both had a lot of fun. no doubt they made a few million bucks also. that tends to make one happy pretty damn easily.

the price to get those two anywhere in the world is huge now.

I think Djokovic was gassed at the end there. His legs went in that one match. Cyborg malfunction. What a display tho. Hoping for the streak to never end!

Exhibitions are hilarious. Looks like beautiful South American Weather as well! Deep Blue skies ah...

Djokovic "Extremely Motivated And Inspired" In New York
by Josh Meiseles 21.08.2014
http://www.atpworldtour.com/News/Tennis/2014/08/34/US-Open-Preview-Djokovic.aspx
Novak Djokovic is looking to return to top form at the US Open, as the World No. 1 eyes a second title at Flushing Meadows and eighth Grand Slam crown.
On the heels of consecutive Round of 16 defeats at the Rogers Cup and Western & Southern Open, Djokovic is eager to get his 2014 campaign back on track. Talking to media on Randall’s Island in New York City, on Thursday, Djokovic told ATPWorldTour.com he is “extremely motivated and inspired” to emerge victorious once again in New York.

“Well, there’s only one ‘Rusty’ and that’s Lleyton Hewitt,” quipped Djokovic when asked about his ‘rusty’ form of late. “I was a bit slow to get into the competition mode. It was a very unique five or six weeks with the wedding and winning Wimbledon and getting back to No. 1 in the world. I couldn’t have asked for more.
“I was extremely fulfilled after I got married. I’m happy with where I am in my life. When I went back to play Toronto and Cincinnati I felt I was emotionally a bit flat. Probably all of these events and experiences got the best of me and I needed some time. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to play my best at the two big tournaments.”
Djokovic, who lost to Tommy Robredo in Cincinnati last week, was seeking to become the first player in history to claim the Career Golden Masters by winning his ninth different ATP World Tour Masters 1000 title.
“I don’t underestimate any tournament. I, of course, wanted to do well, but I couldn’t. I was aware of the fact that I need to recharge, regroup and get myself on the right path for the US Open. It’s the last Grand Slam of the season. I’ve been spending a lot of hours on the court and trying to get my game to where I want it to be.”
Commenting on the absence of defending champion and World No. 2 Rafael Nadal, the Serb expressed his disappointment that one of his biggest rivals could not compete.
“Rafa obviously has a serious injury, otherwise he wouldn't be here. I’m sure about that. I've known him for many years. He’s a great competitor. He’s somebody that doesn’t give up so easily. If he had the chance to play the US Open, he’d be here. Obviously not having Nadal in any tournament is a loss, but we still have the best players in the world. I’m sure it’s going to be a great tournament.”
Djokovic opens his bid for title No. 2 at the US Open with World No. 80 Diego Schwartzman in the first round, and refuses to look ahead in his draw. “I’ve only seen who I play in the first round and my coach doesn’t allow me to see past that.”

Well, it's only fitting that my first post should be on a Nole thread.  :)

Hi, everybody. *waves*

Here's hoping that Novak will finish the season in style: either playing great tennis or being a daddy and loving every minute of it, preferably both.  ;D

Winning Wimbledon and regaining the #1, plus getting married and (shortly) becoming a father have already made 2014 one of the best, if not the best year in Nole's life, I think.

No complaints.  :)
