What? Where did you see that? Was it on Facebook? I didn't even check Facebook, the scores, or read any articles today.

I have been saving my money for a while to get some things done on my house. It's been a bear. Contractors don't show up for scheduled appointments. Then, they give exorbitant estimates. It's been crazy. But, everything happens for a reason.

I'm driving down my street and this guy is doing a masonry job. I needed a retaining wall replaced, so I stopped and asked him for a card. Well, I lost the card, didn't remember his name, or what he looked like. The next morning after I dropped my son off he had come by and left me another card.

Come to find out he's a rehabber! He does everything. He fixed my wall, point and tucked my chimney. Tomorrow he's sloping my sidewalk to keep water away from my foundation, redoing my steps, and building me a stone wall so that my son won't have to mow down the slope. I'm also having a rail put up. His prices are amazing. I had budgeted way over so I'm ecstatic. Oh, and I'm getting new kitchen cabinets and the whole house painted.

Finally, I will be able to relax and get organized, so between all the renovation and getting through my class I've been really busy. But, my house is shaping up and that makes me feel good, because I had to do so much stuff after my sister left it an absolute mess.

I was so lucky to find this guy. The only problem is that he wants to talk to me about how lonely he is. How him and his wife don't get along (yawn), and what I like to do for fun.

Why don't they have any women contractors? LOL

Glowing review. I will. I do know that Russell Crowe is an excellent actor, so I trust him and I will catch it. The title alone excites me as it deals with will, drive, and competing. I am so fascinated by people who possess those skills. I'm 90% laid back and 10% fire, LOL.

Crowe won an academy award for his performance in that one. I think it took home 5 academy awards.

So cool. I was looking on YT for some clips of him practicing, but couldn't find anything. He looks relaxed. That's a good sign.
