You just can't win in this sport if you can't break serve.

It also puts your own serve under too much pressure.

Unless Rafa works hard on his fitness, his return of serve, and his backhand he won't be making any finals, let alone trying to win them.

Lack of enough hunger and desire to work on those 3 things is killing him on tennis courts.

Rafa can stop djokovic. He is the only one who can.

I had held out a small hope for an upset win.

I am not encouraged going forward.

Regardless of what he or his camp says, this is not good for his confidence.

And the real tragedy is that it all started nearly 3 years ago.
His dominance of the surface started to slip 3 years ago.

Needless to say but my day is ruined and I am not very happy.

I saw no need for a vacation in Costa Rica before Indian wells and I certainly saw no need to go to Miami.

He also simply refuses to give his backhand and his return of serve enough play in practice.

But the biggest problem at the moment is insufficient fitness and insufficient physicality given his demanding style of play.

I hope he can find a way to take Rome. We can use a win over djokovic.

I don't think he did as bad as I thought he would. This is the first tournament where he's played decently, actually. He got over some tough spots, he regrouped well, but he still wasn't up to Nole standards, not this soon.

I am encouraged because he made Novak work a bit. I expected a worse score than it turned out to be, and Rafa had some chances. Five double faults for Rafa is a lot, but I think he should be proud to have gotten that far. At the beginning of the week I was thinking a quarterfinal, with m fingers crossed, but he went a round further, so I'm OK with the result.

As far as three setters, Federer still has Novak's number IMO.

I will be optimistic for the two of us. I think this match will go a long way towards re-building his confidence. It would be one thing if he played his best, then it would be disappointing, but he didn't, so that gives him a lot of room to improve, while Novak was close to his best level.

It'll be fine.

We need Rome and we need a win over djokovic.

He has to start focusing and start putting in the long yards on the practice courts.

Barcelona title will do him good. It would increase the chances for the Rome title.

I am not giving up on him. I am just discouraged that he let his fitness drop so much.

Rafa said he gets tired a little bit too early.

I don't understand why he won't fix the fitness issue when he and his team knows he is tired after just 40 minutes of play.

Practice harder with better focus and do more work with fitness. That will start to fix things.

I read that where he said he got tired in the first set. He wasted two sets yesterday and Thursday going an extra set in both matches where he had sizable leads and many opportunities.

But it will take some time. I'm sure this week will give him the motivation to get fitter. I still think he's moving in the righ direction, though. A few more tournaments and he'll get better week by week. There were some missed opportunities too, like the 0-40 game. Argh!

Still, for it to be one of the bigger tournaments, points wise, I think he did great, plus he added a few more points since he went out in the quarters last year to Ferrer.

Novak was playing great this week, so I expected it. And I know you're not giving up on Rafa we are fans till the end.

For Rafa to not be in game ready, he did alright. It's only going to get better from here.

Did you see that chair umpire give Rafa three time warnings. When Rafa was off the tour I don't remember there being but one or two violations in a six month period. As soon as Rafa came back he has been hit with time violation after time violation. In his match with Ferrer, two of the three were on break points. This is some bull crap. I'm sick of it.

we will develop our health and wellness center.

and I also have plans to offer free education to the people at Camelot.

and then we have Camelot fantasy center.

and now our liberal arts center is showing some signs of life.

finally at some point we will also offer free games for people to play.

the future is bright at Camelot.

My friend Bobbi just joined. She will probably do books, fashion, and travel. We'll get there. It's just a matter of getting the right people, because Camelot offers something no one else on the internet offers. Unfortunately, many people are used to the strife that seems to be a part of so many forums.

You have to get used to the peace of Camelot, because it goes against the attention-seeking, alliances, etc. that typically occurs in most forums.

The best thing is that you've opened it up to all different kinds of interests, so people who want a voice can have one.

They just have to find us and choose to grow with us.

Today, Lindsay even said that Uncle Toni and Rafa were talking back and forth to each other. I saw no signs of that all. Their bias is so ridiculous, but in the end they're going to look ridiculous, because no one is going to stop The Clay Warrior. They have nothing to do with his career. They're only going to make him stronger.
