Michael Nadal posted a short message in Nadal News in TW yesterday.  Hope he's copping well.  Is he in this forum?.

The problem with that place is that mods don't bother to do their job.  Starting to think they're fedtards.

I really hope Rafa doesn't have to miss Rio.  This damn injury will affect his ranking even more if that is the case

ever after today these idiots still believe that rafa was faking injury.


same jerks also said that rafa took 7 months off because he wanted to fake the injury really good.


hate factor for rafa has risen 1000% at large forums because of what he achieved last year. he became #1 again and he is within just 4 slams now of the record.


you are right about the mods there: they are beyond pathetic. they go after the rafa fans and they allow the toxic dump to get worse and worse.


seem like 1/2 of all remarks are insults to each other and the other 1/2 are about trying to trash rafa.

they all may look the same but there are subtle differences.

I think nearly 100% of the hate that is directed against Rafa is because of his record against the top 30 players and especially because of his record against Federer.

this is not rocket science. this is pretty easy to see actually.

all he does is win and that is a huge source of frustration for the blind haters.

he has a winning record against 100% of the top 30 players.


he is a threat to Federer and pretty much always has been. especially at slams where it matters the most. and now that he is closing in on the slam record so the hate levels are rising.


and then there is his game: average mindless chimpanzee has no idea what so ever about nadal's game. they are quick to dismiss it as not very pretty and not very artistic. and they also call it boring.


you have to have played a game that is very similar to his game in order to understand the true nature of heavy topspin game. it is just that bloody simple.


I bet 75% of these blind haters have never played the game. and if some of them have then are probably fairly useless at it.



nadal's style of play is the most demanding style ever. period. it is not even close. he has to spend nearly twice the effort of others in order to win his battles.

it is what it is. he does it his way and those of us who have played a similar game and also played it at a high level know how hard he works to win his matches.


there is just no need to tear into this man around the clock if these idiots have zero idea as to how the heavy topspin game is played.

it requires simply massive effort and it requires enormous physical and mental strength.

he has simply worked harder than anybody that has ever played the game to achieve what he has been able to achieve.

normal people would want to commend such a man. and he is humble on top of all that.

he gives everybody credit all the time and never any credit to himself.


the miracle of it all is this: he has pretty much been injured off and on ever since he was 17.

Oh, NO DOUBT that's why Rafa gets so much hate.  Many Fed fans have cult like behavior, so they can't accept that he isn't the invincible, best ever player they had taken him to be.  Now that Rafa's close to his records, they're panicking.  And Fed's panicking, just see his ridiculous criticisms of Rafa, and his crazy happiness about Stan winning (sure Fed, it has nothing to do with injury keeping your record this far).

I do think however that their hate has to do with some sort of jealousy for his personality, for his kind, wise character.  Petty people feel upset that this makes them feel inferior.
