This is both a rant and a rave. So things worked out.

You all know that I have been having computer problems. I guess it's working at about 75%. I can post, play games, ha ha ha, and submit my work, but I have a low space error on my E drive, can't post images from Facebook, and the mouse acts a little wacky. I can't print, use my fax, or scanner. It's pretty bad. So, I thought, you know, go on and get this fixed, but you hate putting your computer in the shop because you don't when you'll get it back and you're at the mercy of employees and that can go either way.

So, I called HP and they said it was a virus and they could get rid of it for $50, but I'd also have to get a maintenance program for $15 a month. I'm like what, that's $230 a year. That's nuts. Then, my friend happened to mention that she knew a computer guy.

Yay! I called him and he's coming over today, but not only that he's going to retrieve some very important files off of my old desktops. Plus, I don't have to lug it anywhere and deal with the inconvenience. He comes highly recommended and I am so happy. It's nice when small problems can be taken care of in the comfort of your home.

rafa is back in Mallorca from his trip to Barcelona.

he will start hitting the ball on Thursday from what I have heard.


I still cant see him going to argentina. especially since he said the back is not ok.

You do live like a king. You are the model we all should emulate. Life is short, enjoy it. It's not worth stressing it. Do what you can, enjoy what you do, and call it a wrap.

I think the intelligent ones like--like that dude "mustard" for example--stay because they have so much history with that place.

same at mtf. mostly trolls that are hell bent on peddling their crap but a few intelligent and objective folks there as well.

except at mtf, most of the reasonable people stay at their various chat threads.


they don't usually bother with the main tennis discussion page. they figure they can always talk tennis at their chat threads if they need to.


anyway change is uncomfortable for some. it takes a while to get used to a new group.


some are just not adventurous enough.
