NeNe left the show with few friends in hand, and Andy Cohen did tell her during her final reunion that she had lost quite a few friends while filming the show. Notable ones include Kim Zolciak, Sheree Whitfield, Marlo Hampton, and more recently, Kenya Moore. The two did start off on a civil note, but they quickly couldn’t stand one another.
NeNe Leakes is now revealing that she did keep one friend from the show. Lawyer Phaedra Parks and Leakes still remain close friends despite not filming the show anymore. And NeNe had no problem declaring her love for her friend on social media this week.
According to a new report, NeNe Leakes is now revealing that she is still very close to Phaedra despite all of the drama on the show. She truly still cares for her friend, who went through some serious issues during the show’s seventh season. When a follower asked Parks about her friendship with NeNe, she revealed that they are still very close.
“Yes NeNe Leakes and I are still friends,” Phaedra replied, which had NeNe add, “Yes ma’am! Miss my Pha Pha.”
This isn’t the first time that NeNe has gushed over her friendship with Parks. Back when she was leaving the show, she revealed that she would always love her friend, no matter what people were saying. She could have referred to Kenya Moore or Kandi Burruss, who have both questioned NeNe’s intentions with her friendship.

“I still love Phaedra Parks no matter what NOBODY says and NOBODY can change that,” NeNe told her followers back in April when she was thinking about leaving the show behind.

In the beginning, Leakes was skeptical of Phaedra. Both ladies had grown up in Athens, Georgia. And while Parks clearly remembers NeNe, Leakes didn’t want to admit knowing Phaedra. During the earlier seasons, NeNe kept a clear distance from Phaedra. But after she started going through her issues with Apollo Nida, Leakes was quick to be supportive. And Kandi Burruss questioned why NeNe wanted to be by her side all of a sudden.
Of course, Kandi and Phaedra remain friends to this day, even though NeNe Leakes is playing a role now in Phaedra’s life. Burruss may be questioning the friendship, but she is dealing with grown women who can handle themselves as they please.

@ Shamea and Sheree:  Bravo is getting my nerves too and I'm starting to really dislike Carlos even more than before.
I've disliked Andy for the longest but, Carlos has just as much to do with all of this foolishness with casting and is why a piece of trash like Porsha and her friend are on the show. Andy may have a glimmer of hope for a story out of Phaedra with AS & Apollo but he could care less about Porsha. I bet that chit is all Carlos. 
I would like to see all of the formats for these HW franchises busted up as these producers are handling these women like dog fighters would handle Pitt Bulls.
There is so much flipping disrespect and obvious loathing for women. Get 'em all juiced up, tell them some  lies and then manipulate the scene for these women to tear each other's throats out.  What they can't get them to do on film- they further manipulate through editing.....H they highlight all their weaknesses, faux pas, insecurities and set them up to be made fun of. I really am sick of it.  I don't think it is enough to say it's the ladies fault. They deserve to work without having to put up with this bullchit. Stop treating them like objects and things that are to be handled. The producers should be called out and boycotted as well. This is workplace abuse imo.

Have you heard the latest?  I don't know how true but, a lot of the blogs are reporting a feud between Sheree and Carlos.  It is said that he tricked Sheree into thinking she was going to get a peach....more importantly that he stole Sheree's idea that she brought to him for the new show they are working on together.   (he allegedly pitched and secured it behind her back after she pitched it to him)
The EP position is supposedly a consolation prize to keep Sheree from making a big stink about it even though she has no legal recourse, as she didn't get him to sign an NDA. (non disclosure agreement)
As much as I don't care for Sheree, if true he is scum and proves he cares nothing for women. That girl is struggling and he has 3 freakn' shows. Why steal her idea?  It is believable too imo, that Sheree approached him with the idea as she is a real estate agent.  I'm not caring for Carlos these days at all.

@ the Duke / Transvestite story.....Yeah- that one is hard to believe but, I wouldn't be totally surprised if true. I don't put much past these producers. They will do anything for ratings however, there's a wrench being thrown in this one reach for drama. Think about it. This would be the equivalent of Bravo stabbing themselves in the foot,  imo.  They will never get the ladies to bring their real men on and certainly no man would agree to appear with the ladies on this show again - if true. I could see the rumour mill in effect but Bravo actually having a hand in it?  I don't know.
It would be interesting, though. It would make Porsha look extra nasty for sure. Her dating choices would be annihilated with her nasty @ss.  Extra messy is right. ....Keeping my eye out for this one.

@ Kordell gay rumors:  I wouldn't doubt Porsha is in on this mess. We all know how Porsha is still bitter - especially after the little scene Kordell did with Claudia. To add,  Porsha is the reason all of this  old mess was resurrected in the first place.
The fact that she said he wasn't touching her is a stark difference from the "my husband lays it down" story she was telling all along. She is just a liar and wanted to hurt him. I think she would still like him to pay for humiliating her.

I didn’t know a lot about Carlos but I don’t like him from watching him emcee the Hollywood Divas reunion. He’s horrible, egotistical, showy, and weak. The fact that he keeps Porsha says it all. I believe he stole Sheree’s idea because he wouldn’t have been giving that credit. He’s shady to the max.

Carlos should be ashamed of himself because he’s exploiting black women and he has a black mother, Andy doesn’t. I have nothing for Carlos. They asked him about that on the reunion and he gave some snake @ss story talking about giving black women a voice. Idiot.

I would like to see all of the formats for these HW franchises busted up as these producers are handling these women like dog fighters would handle Pitt Bulls. Same here with Carlos. I knew of and couldn't stand him the day he picked the writhing Thot off the floor and carried her to her dressing room leaving Kenya alone after being dragged to the floor. I never understood that.
He only turned on Nene because she became unbearable to work with. As long as she was giving everyone else hail and making everyone else miserable she was all good. Andy too. I saw a pic from season 3 or 4 on the Bravo site of she and Andy together - she was captioned as Andy's girl!  Nene really burned her bridges but it doesn't leave them blameless. They made friends with a snake and she bit them too.
I can imagine he is how you describe him on Hollywood Divas. Why would he need to Emcee anyway?  Trying to be another Andy. smh  I've seen him in interviews. He's dry as hail in his little Pewee Herman outfits. I heard that BS statement about giving women a voice. He uses women to get his life and then  try's to paint another picture as if he cares.

Yes @ Kandi. Another phony. I don't like her either. Her only agenda is herself while she pretends to take no position. I'm glad Phaedra burned that friendship to the ground. Kandi had no business supporting that nasty criminal. This is how you know these are not good people. They only stand up when they are being wronged. They turn a blind eye to everyone else's pain. Everyone of them. From the producers right on down. Except Kenya and Claudia and Cynthia. Kenya stands out over all of them.

@ Broadway...Seasoned actors don't  want to do Broadway over the holidays. They want to be with their families.  I agree, that Nene doesn't have anything going on and she's cheap.  It's why they reach for her.

I wondered what else she had up her sleeve while she was gushing about her life being "in such a good place right now."  Broadway's 4 week gig isn't such a big deal.

Tamara is a little late with this  story but, this should make you feel a tad bit better and I can see it happening exactly the way Tamara said.
Earlier today of course they were on RT saying dumb chit about Bravo begging her to return and  giving her her entire seasons pay for one appearance. What idiots. What did Nene have as leverage?  Not a d@mn thing. I said she got paid very little but, I agree with Tamara- she probably only got the free trip.

Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner?

I leave the house for a few hours and all hell breaks loose. I knew the Jamaica trip had broken before I left the house, but I had stuff to do and contacts haven’t had a whole lot to say about it. First let me address the TMZ story.  I don’t know what is wrong with them lately, but they are getting a lot of stuff dead wrong. It seems whoever is writing their many times a day updates about Lamar and Khloe has decided to write the RHOA posts.  It’s clear they just had the photo and no other information. Everything they say about Nene is wrong. They seem to think she is “on break from ‘her gameshow'”  um. Noe.  Nene shot six episodes of To Tell The Truth in two days during the first week of July. It’s four months later, and if it aired, I missed it. Nene is currently preparing for her upcoming role on Broadway.  And she still has a month to learn those lines. So she certainly has time for a free trip to a Jamaica to torment team pretty.  The producers are actually thrilled with this season and didn’t beg her to do anything. They have all the ratchet they need with Porsha and Shamea.

Oh and she isn’t “returning to the show” she is filming a dinner scene  as I type this bringing the drama to the very end of the season.  Anyway, enough TMZ bashing. I would not have pointed all of that out but y’all take TMZ as gospel and I just had to set the record straight.

Here is what I know. I received information on Monday that there was an all in trip to Jamaica that included husbands and FOHs and pretty much whoever wanted to come. The crew arrived on Monday but no housewives were there. I found this odd. Monday was Phaedra’s birthday and she was celebrating that. Saturday is Halloween and Cynthia has an appearance at a party in Atlanta.  So I waited for information.  Then, yesterday afternoon the girls left and arrived early last evening.  Phaedra was still in birthday celebration mode so that is likely the “reason” for the trip. However, it looks like the trip will be three nights (this is night two) and the gang will be back on Friday or possibly early Saturday because some of the housewives have prior commitments.

As for why Nene decided to crash the last filming event of the season? Well, if you’ve noticed, Nene has not been updating her site, her Twitter is just photos of people in her t-shirts.  When she does talk about herself it is about how her life is so great without the RHOA. She is really trying to sell that point.  But I imagine the truth is she can’t stand the fact the show actually went on without her and has a great trailer released. The show is about to start and she is not on it. So she floated the idea of crashing filming in Jamaica. The pretense will be that she wanted to wish her very good friend (that she hasn’t spoken to since she left the show) Phaedra’s birthday.

They are actually filming the dinner as we speak, so my sources don’t have any info on the drama for me yet. But I should be hearing something soon. I’ll get it to you when I can.

Oh and some of you were asking if Kenya is there because she is not in the photo. She is of course.

Finally, this is nothing to freak out about. This is the second time Nene has turned up on a housewives set this month. She was just at Nobu Malibu during a dinner scene for RHOBH at the beginning of the month.  It’s unlikely that she can contribute much to this dinner as she would have no idea what the storylines are and who is fighting with who until production tells her.

I should know more soon. Apologies for the delay, I had a lot of personal business to take care of in the real world, it took forever and I haven’t eaten all day. I’m super tired. But when I know something interesting, I’ll get back to you.

I wonder why Kenya is not in that photo? One of the posters stated  that Kenya was not happy about it and the producers had to talk to her.  I wonder if there is any proof to that?

I was wondering if this pic is photoshopped to bring two groups together?  Why is Porsha's back to Nene and why is her arm around Carlos who is in front of her and not around Nene beside her. Odd.
I hope Nene is icing her dumb@ss out. I notice she doesn't mention Porsha these days. Although, she hasn't stood next to Phaedra in any of the photos either.

RHOA in Jamaica Tea For Thursday!


I’ve been waiting today hoping to hear more about what is going down in Jamaica.  I don’t have a whole lot of information yet on what happened at dinner last night, but I do have some basic information.  The ladies did not all fly out together. Not sure if this is because of beef between the cast or the ladies prior commitments.  Obviously, Nene flew out on her own, and Kenya also flew out alone. They were the last two to arrive, because production wants to encourage conflict between the two.  I don’t see Kenya instigating anything. Nene will have no problem instigating. But Kenya looks quite content standing in between Nene and Sheree. So production may be disappointed and they all get along.



I did find out that Nene as spent the last two weeks talking to Lauren Eskelin, Vice-President of Talent and Production for True Entertainment, about coming back for an episode. There was some discussion of an Atlanta shoot but they eventually settled on having her back for the last trip. This was Nene asking to be on, there was no giant check offered for her to appear. She’ll get a day rate for an episode or three and a free trip to Jamaica.  The word is that Nene wants to return next season. The rumors of production being unhappy with this season could not be farther from the truth. Production is thrilled with Kim Fields. It is the other housewives that are not feeling a connection with her. That said, if Nene wants to come back and accepts a reasonable salary, she’ll be back for season 9. We shall see. She seems to have had some sort of come to Jesus moment after a year with no paycheck of any substance.

Also, this trip is not Phaedra’s trip as I had assumed based on her birthday this week. While her birthday celebration no doubt goes on, the trip is, from a production standpoint, Peter’s trip.Apparently, he is the one “running the trip.” Since Peter still has his coffee business, I expect to see a trip to the Clydesdale Estate in the Blue Mountains to visit the farm that grows his beans.  Maybe. I haven’t been able to confirm that yet.

The other interesting thing is that despite this being filmed for the final three episodes, there are still four weeks where more filming will occur. This will basically be those scenes where a certain group of housewives gets together to discuss previous events as if they happened the day before to help with the flow of the storylines if and when they need them. The ladies are still pretty much on call until the end of November when everything should be wrapped up.

That is it for now, more information will be rolling in and I will keep you up to date through Friday. Everyone should be home by Saturday, though some may be leaving on Friday evening.
