Terminator:

I was so sad about Kyle Reese's death but that had to happen.

Titanic

Ghost

West Side Story

The Fly

Bonnie And Clyde

I'd take Titanic out.  Rest of the line-up is pretty great.

The Big Blue

You know, I haven't seen The Big Blue. Maybe I'll check it out.

folks I have another cool idea:

I think we all should make a separate thread about our all time movies. that we can keep adding to that list over time.

I will fire up my own separate thread about my all time favorite movies right now.

the movies we like tell the others a little bit about us to some extent.

I was just thinking about other movies with sad endings that stand out in my mind:

Elcid had a sad ending for me.

heston plays the greatest of the greatest Castilian Knights. he dies in this one.

I love it, Emma. It's a relatively unknown film, but the cinematography is beautiful, and the story is interesting but ultimately sad.

Bonnie And Clyde

I loved Ghost.

Wasn't too crazy about Titanic. I found it had too many storylines and confused genres. It was a romance, drama, action movies, too much.

Loved West Side Story.

Loved Bonnie and Clyde, too.

you need to see if you can get your hands on the "last of the mohicans".

Daniel Day Lewis is in it. he is the one with 3 academy awards to his name.

awesome story.

When I saw the title thread, this movie came to mind. Gosh, I love that movie. I cry in the same places every time, even though I know what's coming.

I never managed to see that movie.

i will have to look that up and see who was in it?

i could only watch "million dollar baby" for a while before i had to stop. it was too sad for me. i guess i like happy endings far more.

i do realize that some of the best movies of all times do have sad/tough endings.
