There's an emptiness
locked away in the corridors of my mind
shackled....bound so cold
lightning shatters the darkness
a synaptic response...
they're in the darkness
the answers reaching out for me
adrift on an empty sea;...
at last I am...a soulless entity
and now I'm alone!
