Standing here waiting
Longing
For your voice sublime
To help me unwind
Wash off the dust and debris
You take me back to a space and time
Our previous life
Free from this strife
Where we were true lovers
Of passionate fires
That flared each other's desires
Simply by gazing into each other's eyes
Which caused the green eyed monsters
Come shooting in and cause our death
Slowly as our breath expired
We clutched each other
Intertwined we chose to die
Gasping our last intake
Mine was yours, the last breath we take
That took us from this place
To the other space in eternity
