This was a short poem I wrote when I was 14 and lost my great-grandmother. I was really close with her and still miss the time we would spend together reminiscing of long ago days. Her nickname was Grammy, and I titled this poem after her.
Grammy
She was a loving mother and grandmother;
Until the very day.
When the Lord called upon her;
And took her soul away.
He took her to her home up there;
And said that we should never fear.
For we may rise to see her again;
In our own tomorrow year.
