CAMELOT FANTASIES

Most people are stronger & smarter than they think.
 Sometimes we need to push ourselves to the brink.
Sometimes we need to push ourselves to be the best that we can be.
 That sometimes to many afore-closed doors gives us the key.
After you've pushed yourself to the limit you need to relax & just let yourself be free.
 Soon after you'll be the best you can possibly be.
You sometimes need to prove yourself to yourself as well as to others.
 The only people you don't have to prove yourself to are your Mothers

 We all have our talent, strengths & skills.
 Using them really gives us thrills.
We also have our weaknesses & flaws.
 Trying to strengthen them, us it bores.
Always live life to the full.
 If you don't it can get dull.
Don't let anybody dictate how you think & what you feel.
 Life is happening to you as well for real.
You are in control of your life.
 That's you, not your parents, siblings, friends, managers, husband or wife.
You decide what you want to do.
 Have a long, hard think about it if you haven't a clue.
Take time out sometimes to do what you want to do.
 This is very important both for me & for you.
You've got to be able to help yourself before anyone can help you.
 You've got to try, to your own self be true unto.

Hold on tight to your dreams.
 Try your best to make them come true.
 I hope the sun on them beams.
 I hope they all come true for you.

I sometimes find myself thinking in rhyme.
 When I do that, I feel the need to share my thoughts, every time.
 My brain just appears to enjoy the elegance of rhyme, every thing turns out perfectly spelt, punctuated & grammatically correct.
 Without even thinking about it everything turns out perfect.
 Some people would say I have a talent or a gift.
 Seeing my rhymes & thinking about them, my self-esteem & confidence does lift.
 I know I'm not a professional poet.
 I have a go though & we all know it.

I've always loved horses, ponies & donkeys too.
 I always wanted to own 1.
 I know I'm not the only 1. Most little girls do.
 They're all beautiful, whether black, white, grey, chestnut or dun.

 I never even got the chance to learn to ride.
 I only ever got the chance to see 1 who lived nearby & stroke & feed it.
 It was lovely being by its side.
 I was taught to lay my hands flat when feeding it apples & carrots so my fingers wouldn't get bit.

 I'd love to go somewhere like Shetland, Eriskay, Connemara, Newforest, Dartmoor, Exmoor or the Camargue where they are in the wild.
 Those holidays would be a dream to me.
 I've always wanted to do this since I was a child.
 They are places I'll always want to be.

 All the talk of the role of horses in the past first got me interested in history.
 Why I've always been attracted to them is such a mystery.

The moon

 The moon is a satellite
 That orbits the earth.
 It gives the earth light at night.

A day out

 Sometimes we all need a change of scene.
 Sometimes it's nice to remember all the places we've been.
 The first days out I went on were to the coast as a little girl & we spent the day on the beach.
 We took 4 flasks & had 2 sandwiches each.
 We used to have a ride on a ship.
 We also used to go in the sea for a dip.
 Now I've grown up most days out are shopping trips.
 When we go to the coast we go shopping too & on nice days we have boat trips.
 We visit more museums, art galleries & castles as we use travel to broaden our mind.
 All the decent markets, antique shops & cafes we seem to find.
 We go to 1940's weekends too.
 We enjoy seeing the costumes, items & dancing & we join in the sing-songs too.
