The moon

 What is the moon?
 The moon is the earth's satellite.
 It's got many a dune.
 It's our brightest natural, outdoor light at night.

 It's made out of rock.
 It orbits the earth while the earth orbits the sun.
 In the old days it told people the time instead of a clock.
 When the moon came out it told everybody to stop work & go to bed as the day was done.

 The moon has many seas.
 Astronauts have walked on it that's how we know.
 Dad tried to fool me when I was a child by telling me it was made of green cheese.
 It's a place some people would love to go.

 It controls the tides.
 It has many sides.
