I found this poem on the internet:
Medieval Times
Traveling back in into Medieval Times, he was glad to be
a page to a knight that was really kind.
It was his honor to serve him greatly and this was the
beginning of his bonding bind.
He and others were going on a conquest in the wee
bit morning hours to protect our great Kings land.
Bad men nearby were on their way and had formed
a heavy group to battle with metal and their hands.
It shall not be done he said to the page, never as long as
we can stand.
Our lives live on protecting ourselves and we will
provide the best we can.
Maybe can I go with you, my sir knight and fight along and be
by your side?
I need you all, little one to stand guard here and protect
other children and our King and Queen and all other lives
Time passed and the wee morning finally came true to
light.
The knights and their horses set out to win and to correct
this terrible flight.
Hours turned into days and not a word did they hear of
them.
Horses returned without their riders and faces were
beginning to look grim.
Standing by the walls of the Kings castle, they awaited
anxiously.
A few minutes later horses and riders appeared but it was
the Kings men that were riding impatiently.
We are here!!! They cried so loudly and clear and all kneeled
before their King.
The page was standing there by his knight and horse and
full of sunlight beams.
