people can be so bloody narrow minded and selfish.

that is my #1 pet peeve on the planet: I cannot stand unkind and selfish people.

She's very self-centred and that makes her very selfish. To her, it's all about 'me, me, me'. She's just not at all aware about how she comes off to others. I spend a lot of time just to make her see that but alas, all falls into deaf ears. I try to be subtle but even the most obvious hint goes between her ears. I don't at all think you can change people. All you can do is do your part and hope fore the best - and you move on. My friendship with her because of this won't suffer but it's good to be aware. And this wasn't even a test that I run sometimes to see how people truly are if something is expected from them . lol
