I am in search for a really good female family doctor. Typically I always prefer men over women but when it comes to personal physician I prefer female. I've had an incident with a male doctor once (of sexual nature, ahem..) and I've gotten really careful since then.
The problem is, I can't find any good female doctor. The rated ones are not accepting new patients. And the ones who are accepting new patients have really mixed reviews and not rated well at all. My current female doctor is a psycho. First of all, she's very greedy so she keeps on taking new patients even when she can't handle them all and sometimes, even mistreat them; second, because she has a lot of patients, she keeps you wait at least for two hours. And when you finally do get to see her, she spends about 5 minutes with you and 4 minutes she talks about her own problems - such as how her kids just hate her and don't want to listen to her at all etc. The thing is she's rarely home so I am not even sure if she knows her kids all that well.
And on top of that, she spends much more time with her favourite patients who happen to be from the same country she's from leaving the rest for the minimum time. Her frontline desk staff are also quite rude and manipulative. All of her staff including herself own self is of female gender. I thought female are better in this sense since they are supposed to be quite caring and nurturing and all that jazz etc. but not quite. Women who are in professional business and not just housewives are just as bad and greedy as, say, their opposite gender.
My dentist is male and he's very good. I should mention that my gynecologist is female and extremely good to be fair but I'd only gone to her once in my entire life. I just wanted to make sure that I was physically all well just to be on the safe side.
Typically I hate going to the doctors though I go to my dentist religiously. But I haven't done a physical in 3/4 years so I feel it's about time I go for one this year. Just not finding a good doctor who more in for the patients than money.
