well truth be told, i am pissed and i am shattered both at the same time.
rafa simply doesnt put in the hard yards on the fitness front like he used to and hence the marked and increased incidence of injuries.
he says he wants to live a full life and do a lot of other things.
well that is the price you pay: others start to take away the spotlight from you in the competitive arena.
he had been living it up. he gave himself very little time to get ready for the 4000 points that he had to defend.
so naturally he was going to get hurt or injured trying to cram in the practice sessions. this is not the first time he has done this.
that said, it is the right wrist. so thank god it is not the left wrist.
hoefully he will recover from this and then find his usualy thirst and hunger for competition again. being out of the sport does that for him.
he could take the australian open and the french open in 2015.
