what you are saying about j.k. rowling is indeed amazing. it came to her all at once and she turned that revelation into a billion dollars.

her creativity has no bounds as a result of that vision that all came to her at once.

Writers are also channelers. They have the ability (and they often do) to tap into the Universal intelligent mind and channel creativity from there. It's the creative field. Right brain is known to be the doorway to this field. Even Einstein's theory of relativity comes from there as well as he used dose off a great deal while thinking about the fields of physics known as the 'prep work' (talked about a bit later in this post). Growing up Einstein was known as very slow and his dad would often tell him that he wouldn't amount to anything. He barely passed Physics in college if you could imagine that and he was very average in maths too. His then girlfriend and later wife helped him a lot to solve a lot of the math problems while both being in school and in the same class. And now he's known as the Scientist of the Century.  How does that work - from amounting nothing to almost failing in Physics to Scientist of the Century or ever?

J.K. Rowling couldn't wait to go home as she was flooded with all this stories, characters, names etc. in her mind and felt the desperate need to write it all down. She'd barely sleep, drink, eat etc. during that time as she was worried that she'd lose the momentum or lose the connection and wouldn't be able to finish it.

Dr. Amit Goswami, a world famous theoretical physicist, refers this path as do-be-do-be-do. This means do the prep work and then do nothing and so on and let it be. Rowling was looking for a storyline and she had some ideas (like she wanted to write an epic fantasy book series) but the rest came to her as tapped into the mind-field of creativity through her right brain and it produced it for her.  Quite fascinating really but only a few people really know about this stuff. Most people are very ordinary because they tend to be very left brained and can only do so much with such limited capacity. Human perception and mind are both very limited and based on physical reality only.
