Struff, his name is Struff. lol. Anyway, I was able to see the match. I stayed home today as I had a gizzlion things to do but that also gave me the chance to watch the match.
It was a good match. A bit more competitive than the first one against Pospisil. Struff was going all out against Andy and that's probably how he was instructed by his coach. This makes Andy look passive at times but he's really in no position to play that kind of aggressive tennis. He needs to stay cool and wait for his moments. And he did just that.
Struff did break him early in the 2nd set and had a 3-1 lead too but Andy broke him right back. Struff was just too overwhelmed by that fact that he had just broken Andy and didn't have time to regroup himself as he had to play the next game immediately and Andy just capitalized that moment. Andy, in fact, broke him at love taking all 4 points.
Overall good match. Troicki is next. Should not be a problem but he is a more experienced and consistent player than the first two but Andy definitely knows what to do.
Ferrer's got a slightly tougher path here. He beat Dr. Ivo today and faces Kohlschreiber tomorrow. That's going to be tough too.
