Murray will forever be remembered as a Wimbledon champion. Nobody talks about Virgina Wade or Fred Perry matches where they fell short.
Let's not write his obituary yet. There is plenty more to come. It's purely a hangover from achieving his lifelong ambition of winning Wimbledon. He's a little flat and lacked a bit of intensity in New York.
He will be back on course again next year. It might have even given him a jolt to raise his game at the YEC.
I believe Andy can do well at the YEC. He's had many of his best performances in UK. Maybe the grass courts have helped him at Wimby but maybe also the British crowd. And he'll have that crowd at the YEC.
