his groundstrokes were unbelievable in this match. and the forehand was the forehand of death.
astonishing stuff. I am just amazed at the forehand. he basically did not miss back then.
couple of glaring liabilities even back then and he has not done anything to improve those. he was afraid of the net and he often missed when he chose to push the returns backs.
he did well when he chose to actually prepare well and hit those returns back.
he also did not touch his nose 4-6 times before and after each point back then. I think he is throwing off his own rhythm when he does that.
also he is the one who is usually more fit than the others so why give them extra time to recover.
