it is cold as hell here today on the gulf coast.

I hate to be ignorant, and they say there's no such thing as a stupid question (I disagree, BTW), but I did see an article saying that it was cold on the Gulf Coast, but where is the Gulf Coast?

Geography is not my thing, so much so that I was watching Jeopardy and they showed a graphic of the USA and blocked out the states surrounding my own state and for the life of me I could not remember what states were around. When they gave the answer I was so embarrassed because I go there all the time, and it's only 10 minutes from downtown.

I'm guessing it's near Florida?

It's freezing here. I have no plans to go out at all today.
