I think andy will be fine. he will improve with each match. he looks relatively fit and strong.

Sampras really hated going to Melbourne. He hated the flight/distance and the heat. He even skipped it a few times. lol. Otherwise I think he would have won more there had he given it a bit more arse. lol. Agassi on the contrary loved the heat.

Andy, I think, is okay with the heat.

also i thought back then players did not really care all that much about the Australian open.
