And who bloody wants to argue with the so called Federer fans? Half of them strike me as hell prisoners on the loose on earth,

affirmative. and equally importantly who really needs people like that hanging from you all the time. enough is enough. I don't even talk to the blind worshippers anymore. they bore me to tears.

I know we will get going here eventually. most likely we are going to embark on a small journey to a little bit of growth here once the new season starts. market is more than big enough. a few good people will find us sooner or later.

and we will chart our own course. small society is perfect for this place. that was the plan all along anyway.

all we have to do now is nothing. absolutely nothing. we kick back, relax, and let the chips fall where they may.

no worries and not a care in the world. we not only home at last, we are also free.

I heard tdk got banned again.

well he has a home here as promised. he does not need to be without a home. this is Christmas time and we never leave anybody out on the street anyway. Camelot is open to everyone at all times.

does anybody know how to get hold of him? we need to let him know that he is welcome here.

in fact all banned posters from other forums have a home here. this is a unique place and a cool place. they will be just fine here.

I liked TDK. I thought he was funny. Hopefully we can find him and he can come here. He can talk about Rafa all day long without people getting on his case.

I take it, you forgive him?

herc, I don't think we should worry about who's backstabbing us or who's being ungrateful etc. at all. You invite them and if they come, then that's good; if not then, oh well. I'd rather concentrate on this forum and take it from there. We can definitely invite posters to post here but let's not impose anything on anyone. Our forum is not going to suit everyone's taste anyway. I don't want to worry about other forums too much either. I sometimes browse Tennis Warehouse or Tennis Frontier but that's only when I have some spare time to spend. I don't think anyone is posting anything worthwhile anyway. At the end of the day, it's all speculations, personal opinions based on personal agendas, the never ending goat discussions etc. that's really not worth spending time on. And what are we establishing by taking part in these meaningless discussions anyway? Basically nothing. It's all meaningless jibber jabber time consuming activities anyway. I mean look at the amount of nonsense going at Tennis Warehouse. Who in their right mind wants to be a part of that? Anyway, let's just have fun here as much as we can and let others join but only if they want to.

I totally agree. I never expected to find a tennis forum where you could just discuss tennis, your favorite players, and breaking news in a rational and mature manner. Now, that we have that we should just enjoy the peace and serenity. Anyone who prefers the infighting, insulting, and immaturity should be left to do just that.

The Camelot Elite Society should continue to focus on the Elite. It will make tennis enjoyable for all.

People make their own choices. Their brains are not wired the same way. They choose to be negative and hateful, as evidenced by their actions.

Let them stew in their own unhappiness. They are not worth your time, because they have no desire to change. The best you can do is pray for them and keep it moving.

Enjoy those things that are pure and bypass the foolishness.

OMG!

I am so happy! I absolutely adore borg number one, although I thought she was a he. I can't wait to see her here. She will add so much to Camelot. Pure class, she is.

I will email some of the others that I like on the other site. It would be great if we could get more quality posters.

I will also email you as I have something that I would like to add to the forum, with you and Ms. Emma's approval, of course!

One thing I found out about Tennis Frontier very recently is that, it is too full of Federer and Nadal fans and that's frankly, never a good thing. Tennis4u is and was just the same. At least at Murray's World, one could avoid all that nonsense and concentrate on other players. Any forum has got to be the best forum that doesn't deal with Federer and Nadal fans only, simply put.

Anything baron has to say, he can say straight to my face.

With the way Camelot is set up that really shouldn't be a problem. With the setup here people can discuss Rafa, Federer, Murray, or anyone they choose without upsetting the other camps.

Me personally, I don't have any desire to discuss Federer so I wouldn't be in a Federer section. Only the troublemakers would cross the line, and they would stick out like a sore thumb.

It would be easy to spot them, give them a warning and eventually ban them if their whole purpose is to be disruptive.

Emma's sig is so awesome. I want one too. I have found my pictures, but don't know how I should get it to you.

Do I simply send you the pictures, or do I send you links to the pictures?

@ Emma:

I agree.

So many of them take fandom to a whole new level.

It's scary how emotionally involved they get into Federer.

I have never seen a fanbase like them.

Of the Top 40 posters based on post counts, there are 12 Nadal fans, 7 Federer - so on those stats it's less than 50%, although probably more like 60%-70% if excluding WTA fans.  As they have the biggest fanbases, you wouldn't really expect anything much different.

baron's troop needs to learn to debate first before I need to sharpen up. Can't even present facts just some blind worshiping and nonstop twisting of facts. I am neither a Federer fan or a Nadal so I have no selling point here, so I don't mind exposing anyone's weakness if I feel like it. I just don't like people making blanket statement like Sampras was not even average on clay. Well, at least you know who's what. And let baron know that I've spent all my life posting on forums like CNN, Worldcrossing so I know how to tough it out if anything but whether I want to still do it especially against a bunch of idiots that is the question.

The part you had most disagreement with people over was Sampras' standing on clay courts.  Most disagreed with you from all fanbases including other Sampras fans.  The thread was about Murray and then moved onto Sampras... Are you sure you didn't have a dog in the race?

Does baron conveniently forget that I'd decided to leave TF after they deleted half of Castles posts and gave us warnings about this or that? The only reason I went back was because I don't have access to Camelot through work and I made it very clear. And I wasn't even going to stay there for long because my first love is Camelot and it will always be that way. My stay there was going to be temporary anyway or at least I wasn't going to post on a daily basis. I just got into this argument that started out very lightly at first but once I realized half them weren't making any sense and weren't providing any supporting data to their claims, it just became a completely moot point for me to stay there and continue to 'debate'. But of course, if I were to drool over Federer and Nadal then that would have been very well received. This is the reason why I don't want to be on any forum that crawls with these two's fans.

You're entitled to post where you please but just a correction - half the castle posts were not deleted.  I think Sid had two deleted and somebody else had two deleted.  That's four.  Sure, some mistakes were made moderating because the earlier policy on stopping feuds spilling over from other boards had been taken too literally.  That was addressed very quickly and changed.

Seven pages of posts were later moved into the Tennis Frontier Chat forum because that was where they had been posted originally before being transferred into the Castle board. They were transferred back when the Castle ended.
