last time he was out of it. he had the flu to go along with the knee issue.

his prospects looking much better this time around. lot of history at stake too.

Would like to see Andy back for sure. I don't think it's given to anyone at this point.

It will be interesting to see in what shape Andy arrives in the slam. Very.
Also Rafa, is he up for this? How much does AO mean for him? I have never heard he speak a lot about AO.
But history can be made, more to his legacy to be added.

that was an awesome final. they went toe to toe for 4 long sets before Federer was to be tamed that day.


I rate that as one of the best hard court matches I have ever seen. the quality of play was very high for 4 long sets.


my own prediction is that nadal is going to be able to make history there. it is just 56 days away now.

that also partly explains why he keeps playing. he has exos planned with ferru and nole in south America soon.

andy will be very hungry to compete at a grand slam again.

he has lost 3 finals there so we know he brings extra motivation with him.


no telling how the draw might work out. I guess ideally, if one is a rafa fan, nole and andy need to be in the same 1/2.

for the nole fans, they would want andy to be in nadal`s 1/2.

I also think we cannot count Federer out. he still has a big game. he could put it all together and end up in the final there.
