Christmas time should be full of Joy and bring the kids lot of Toys But life is full of constant struggles, bills to pay and other trouble Beyond frustration and all the hype, I still lay down my head at night Another day Christmas is nearer, I'm getting old said my mirror LOL! Merry Christmas to you and I will have a nice Christmas with all of my children and the rest of my little family. Thank you for the message. I forget that I have this account, or honestly I still can't quite figure out. I wanted to be a computer nerd in my next life. Take Care!

I do plan to look at the education section. My full time job sucks up my day and I'm down a computer at home. The one I had finally died. Eventually, I make strides and progress. Overall I'm a happy person, but I tend to write when I'm not happy. That's my outlet. I think all creative people have a dark side emotionally to some degree. Smile!

Thank you for your kind words. I've had a lot of heart ache in my life but it's made me the woman that I am today. I survive by knowing I am not alone and everyone experiences pain and loss in their life. I just pray that everyone has friends or family that help them through tragedy. You write so well, thank you again for your comments. I hope to learn from others in Camelot.

Daddy's Love Love is a powerful gift that's precious and true. God gives us love that shines through and through. Children are born to special people each day.
When God gave us you dad the Angels exclaimed. "He" is the one God knows will be up to the test. "He" is the dad who's above all the rest.
"He" is the dad that will play in the floor Take them where he goes, it won't be a chore. "He" will teach them to fish, to say please and thank you. "He" will teach them respect, and the right path to choose. The Angels smiled as they descended away. And gave us to you to love in every way. In the fast pace of life few dads give what you do. They just have too many other things to do.
But you have shown us Dad that your role is a treasure, and being your son's brings more love than can be measured.
This poem was written for the father of my two oldest boys for Father’s Day 2007. He passed away in his sleep at the age of 39 on 12/01/2007.
Daddies can’t be replaced and no matter how much love I give them I can’t take that pain away from my boy’s heart. Now my dad also has passed away, and I share the loss of missing my dad.

I wrote this one for my cousin who lost the most loving husband a woman could ever have. He was my cousin and I use to pray to meet a man with his type of heart. He was so giving to everyone, he was a big man but he had a soft voice, a beautiful soul and my heart broke for my cousin Gina who was left behind to live without him. John Wayne was his name (not the cowboy), but I always giggled as a little girl when I would think of his name. I still search for someone like my cousin John, but I think God only made one. Thank you for reading my story, my life........
I hope my attachment comes through. Let me know if it doesn't.

Yes my mom is special, and because of her I am the strong woman that I am today. I've fought many battles, I've endured more pain then I deserve, but my heart remains open to life and love. I believe my life is my success, my beautiful children are my legacy and my dream is to write, to inspire, to make a difference, and (too make a bunch of money) lol!
It was time to lighten the mood! By the way you ROCK!

When I wrote this poem my daddy was still alive. We lost him three years ago to cancer, and nine years after I wrote this, I wish I could say they had a story book marriage, but from what I remember it was Hell. I see my mom live with so much peace in her life now, but she still loves my daddy and always will, and even though he was mean she would take him back if only she could. In the end I realize my mom was not crazy to stay with my daddy all those years, she was merely unconditionally loving him until death did they part. She fulfilled her vows she made when she was that young innocent 16 yr old girl in love with the man of her dreams.
Married for Life
Two special people 40 years ago today Stood up before god and vowed to remain A couple for life Through thick and through thin A love that would last A love that wouldn’t end
Tall dark and handsome The boy of her dreams The man she would love And soon he’d agree
She knew before he did One day they would marry Although they were young It must have been scary
Not a storybook love But a love that grew strong They had to work hard They had to hold on
Hard times there were many But the love would endure Each test they would pass Each day love grew more
Two little girls The two of them had Pam then Melissa All females, poor Dad
Soon they would grow up As all children do Move out and get married And have children too
My mom and My Dad Now grandparents of three Two boys and a girl Alex, Ashley and Casey
Married for life on April 11, 1964 And now 40 years later It’s 2004! Happy Anniversary Mom and Dad, We Love You! Written By, Melissa Young 2004

STICKY NOTE FROM GOD
God knew what I was searching for, but he wasn’t through with me. If I would learn my lessons, have faith, and just believe. Put him first and praise him, in good times and in bad. He would look on me with blessings; love I’m meant to have.
I knew the time was near, and you were on your way. He made sure that I’d meet you, and you would feel the same. A love that does not feel like work, we won’t be kept apart. God gave me a message, a soft voice whispering in my heart.
I have taken this into my hands, and I know who you need. For only I can send the man, that will make your life complete. He will not be just a man, though a man he is indeed. He will not be just a friend, but your best friend you will see.
It took some time and many roads the both of you have traveled. He is the man I have chosen, and your love he will treasure. You are the woman I made for him; this match was made in heaven. He is truly your soul mate, the one you’ll love forever…

I sing everything, but do I sound good? Not really LOL! If I could only remember important things as well as I remember lyrics.
